HOW TO: Thread Your Adjustable Gymnastic Ring Straps

Using your adjustable straps is easy, but so is threading your straps the wrong way which can result in breaking the cam buckle or just difficulty using.
Here is a quick diagram on how to thread your straps so you're hanging around in no time.
  1. You will want to hang your straps on the designated spot with the numbers and markings facing outward. This will just ensure no tangles or snags when you try to adjust later.
  2. You can see from the diagram below that you will want to thread the end of your strap from underneath, where it says "Feed Web"
  1. While pressing the buckle open, you'll see the teeth open and close when you do that. Thread the end of the strap from below (Feed Web under side) through the teeth of the buckle. I will admit, this can be a little tricky and may even seem like you're doing it wrong BUT you'll get it...I promise.

  1. Once you see that strap coming out, like a slithery little snake tongue, you just have to pull that strap (still pressing the buckle open) until you've reached your desired length.
