A New Kid on the Block

Parents in Fringe Nation told us how their kids have taken an interest in their lifting routines.

You asked us for a kid's barbell. We delivered.

We want to provide all the tools for Fringe Nation Jr. so we now offer a kid's squat rack. They might be working on their upper body with our kid's barbell, but let's not get them used to skipping leg day.

  • We've made this rack just high enough for kids to hop on and do some pullups but not too high so they can safely hop off on their own.
  • The width of this rack can hold a Olympic Barbell or in this case a 5lb Kid's Mini Barbell or 15lb Training Bar.
  • A pair of J-Cups is provided so the kiddos can start lifting as soon as mom or dad are done building it.

There are a few things to note about our Kid's Squat Rack with Pullup Bar

  • Although this rack functions as a regular-sized squat rack, the height recommendation is for persons 4' 6" and under.
  • If you're looking for a cost-efficient rack for taller folks, we recommend our Garage Series Squat Rack with Pullup Bar.

Pop a Squat

Our kid's rack will have them popping a squat in no time. With a smaller footprint and profile, the design of this rack suits kids with exact precision.

Besides traditional lifts like the squat and bench press, kids can also utilize the crossbar for pull-ups and chin-ups.

Get your kids started young and take 'em to our rack.

Perfect for a short bar (and a short woman)

I'm 5'3" and probably would find this too short for squats if I were taller, but it fits me just right. I have a 60" bar with 37.5 btwn the collars and this is the only 36" wide rack, and the smaller footprint is great since I only have a half-garage gym. I added the 2x3 safety arms for my bench. And the service team is great - with questions I had about the item and with assembly when i got a bit stuck. (pictures for instructions are nice but words would help too!) Stable and sturdy. Fast shipping, y'all have got a repeat customer here for sure.

Not just for kids!

Perfect for the backyard covid free Home gym. Great size to easily move around. I'm about 5'8'' and this rack works perfectly for me. Only downside is you'll have to use a more narrow grip when using for bench press, but very doable. Very happy, especially with customer service.

Awesome squat rack

If only weights were in stock! I'm stuck with a shorty 5' barbell a kids rack and no weights.. I'm 5'8' and can do pull ups with my knees retracted using this rack. Can squat just fine too, low bar.

Perfect for my 7 & 4 yr old

I bought this for my 7 & 4 yr old to have something safe to do while I work out. I drilled two extra holes to move the pull-up bar down a little to better fit the height difference. I was very impressed with the strength and quality of the materials. This will be a staple for many years.

Nice Small Rack

This rack is a great choice for kids and small adults. It is well built and solid. The only negative that I encountered with the purchase of this rack was the lack of proper protection in the packaging. Serious abuse on the part of UPS caused the rack arrive pretty beat up. The folks at Fringe Sport were quick to remedy the problem. Their customer service is excellent. Also, the description states that the kid's rack has weight horns, it does not. This is apparent in the photos, so I wasn't expecting them, but if you are, you will be disappointed. I ended up purchasing the Fringe Sport Garage Gym rack as well and combined the the two racks into a hybrid that perfectly suits my needs. I wrote more on this in my review of the Garage Gym rack. I'm very pleased with my ordering experiences and will be making more purchases from this company.
