Doubles as pull up rig

Thing works great as for push/pull downs and ups. Pulley can be attached to weight peg and used for curls etc. Carabiners and low quality but should hold up ok.

Lat pull down

This system is worth what it costs. It’s limited in a sense to what it can do but it can still do enough to be a better value over other much more expensive lat pull down systems from other companies. The best thing is it is easily removed and can be easily stored for those with limited space. The carabiners are rather cheap and don’t always close properly. And the strap that supports the entire system seems questionable in the long term, but I guess I’ll see how well it holds up. Other than that I would recommend this product.

Good. The spring clip links are too weak. Didn’t get hurt but I suppose a person could lose a tooth or even worse if the stars were in . Happened to me the second time I used it with 90 pounds on it had 140 the first time. There’s a screw together type link not as fast but no little weasel of a hinge

Literally needed this!

I’m so glad I got this! This has been probably the best “low cost” and “not taking up much space” investment in my home gym since the KB! It’s easy to use, can be used sooooo many ways, and really gives me some movements that I was lacking in my routine! My current fav use of it is seated on the floor, regular and/or reverse grip. Note- gym selfies aren’t my strong point but you get the idea! Lol

Beware of Carbiners

I hooked this up. Put 35 pounds on it and tested it for not even 5 minutes with some tricep pushdowns + straight arm pulldowns. The carbiner breaks, the weight goes slamming to the floor, 10 pound plate bounces off and hits me in the leg. This could have gone VERY badly. There is no way the carbiner included is able to fulfill that load capacity listed. If you have high quality carbiners to hold onto the weight instead then ya this could be good because for the very limited use i did get, it did feel good. But as is i would never recommend and someone going in blindly here can seriously get hurt trusting the included pieces to be secure.

That sounds really frustrating and honestly, pretty dangerous. We never want you to have an experience like that. Please reach out to team@fringesport.com so we can take care of this and make it right.

It is very smooth. Better than I expected. I use a MAG grip with it, and I have an 86 inch tall rack, and it works just about perfect for me while I’m sitting on the floor to use it for pull downs, and it’s about the right height for tricep pushdowns with my rack. Not sure if the cable is always that length and will work with everyone’s. It would be nice if the length of the cable was posted in the description.

Okay

This is okay. The handle has a ton of play at the joint and leaked grease everywhere. The pulley is pretty low quality and the cable is too short. Overall, I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend it over just building something yourself and getting a nice handle.

A bit disappointed

I have fringes belt squat and I absolutely love it. This pulley however is a miss for me, and I wouldn’t buy it again. I’m only using the straight bar, and opted for aluminum pulleys, a larger weight pin, and cables elsewhere. I don’t think this particular item justifies what it cost.

Solid and good value

Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. It's a great combination of quality and value, and greatly expands the versatility of my home gym. My two ask, would be for better carabineers and a 2" weight peg. The weight peg that comes with it is too slow and thin.

Versatile and Functional

I have two of these systems now and am satisfied with both of them. They are easy to set up and work well for doing cable based movements like lat pull downs, face pulls, tricep pushdowns, etc.The only request I would have is for Fringe to build a low row component/addition to this system for purchase.

Excellent Pulley

I had another pulley from a different brand that I paid twice the price for, and it doesn’t perform nearly as well (it swings around like George of the Jungle). This pull doesn’t swing at all, goes straight up and down and the handle alone is worth more than I paid for the whole thing.

Not so great quality

After about 4 uses the carabiner snapped. I’m lucky I didn’t hit my teeth. Would not recommend.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience with the carabiner. Safety is our top priority, and we take this seriously. Please contact us at team@fringesport.com so we can address this issue right away.

Great Pulley System

Works great with Fringe Sport Osprey rack and Fringe Sport MilSpec bumper plates. Included steel bar is surprisingly good.

Great tool for garage gym!

Easy to use and move around as needed in my garage gym! I would recommend this to anyone that doesn’t have a pulley system in their home gym, game changer!

Good - but Could be Better

The cable needs to shorter for exercises to be performed correctly. It's too long. And the lat bar / braided rope attachments were not included in this package.

Great product.

It works as advertised and adds a new dimension to my rig, that I also purchased from Fringe.I’ve worked with Fringe Sport for several years. They sell great equipment at a great price and their customer service is always efficient and friendly. Can’t ask for anything more.

Impressive but a little long

In several respects, this system exceeded my expectations. I was wondering how they would make a strap so strong, but they did. The pulley is solid and works smoothly, and the system is easy to set up and take down. The only problem is that the length of the cable is not adjustable. This makes it tough to use if you have a shorter cage. I have to get on the ground to make it work, and even then there several exercises I was hoping to do with it that I cannot because it is too long.

Thank you for your feedback. We are in the process of changing a few thing on the pulley system.

Use it daily!

Had wondered if this would be cheap or break easily. It has been great! Highly recommend!

Just what I wanted

This is very easy to set up and take down using the pull up bar on my squat rack. I use it primarily for face pulls, and it is a huge improvement over the resistance bands I was using for that purpose - the pulley action very smooth, and I can control the movement with a much higher degree of precision. Great product, great price!

Simple and Gets the Job Done

Simple affordable way to use a pully. Great if space is an issue (me) and you can't afford or dont have space to get separate machine. Love it and helped me make more out of my home gym

Cable pulley system on Garage Squat Rack

Good product for the price and I got it on sale with two 5# plates and two 2.5# plates. The carabiners sometimes get jammed when being pulled up. Two out of the three that came with the package already broke and I only had this for about two weeks. Strap hangs a little too low on the Garage Series Squat rack.

Good, not great

The cable pulley works as expected, but a few issues prevent it from being perfect. The carabiners are too small/cheap, so unclipping and clipping back into the mount, the plate holder, and the handle attachment isn't a smooth operation. The carabiner just barely fits over the top pulley shackle, so I feel like it's scraping off the powdercoat every time I connect and disconnect it.The cable is a little too long for my application - I have to sit or kneel on the floor to get the proper range of motion, which can be awkward.I don't really use the handle that came with it. Fortunately I already had a tricep rope that works well, but I would have preferred that it came with a wider bar for lat pull-downs.My suggestions:* Upgrade the carabiners* Offer shorter cable lengths* Offer packages with a different handle attachment instead

Great piece of equipment

This was exactly what I was looking for and the price was a bonus! Arrived quickly, and it was super easy to set up. Like others have said, I wish the clips were a bit bigger, but that's an easy fix.
