KICKSTAND UPGRADE AVAILABLE

The kickstand attachment props the belt squat up 17" off the ground which allows you to start & finish your squats in the upright position.

FITS ALL RACK SIZES ON THE MARKET

The Mammoth Belt Squat is compatible with ALL squat racks on the market. It fits:

  • 2" x 2" uprights
  • 2" x 3" uprights
  • 3" x 3" uprights
  • Fits all racks with either ⅝” or 1” holes.

DO MORE THAN JUST SQUATS

The Mammoth Belt Squat can be used for a variety of different workouts besides squats. By switching out the belt for another handle attachment, you can perform rows, curls, calf-raises, or presses with the lever arm attachment.

THE MAMMOTH BELT SQUAT: SIMPLIFY SQUATTING

The Mammoth Belt Squat is a powerful strength building rack attachment designed to maximize leg strength while minimizing strain on the back and shoulders. By transferring the load to your hips, the Mammoth Belt Squat removes the weight from your back and shoulders completely, allowing you to get into a deeper, more natural squat. It also allows you to train legs at higher volumes without being limited by back fatigue. With an adjustable length from 39" to 48.75", the Mammoth Belt Squat attachment provides the full functionality of a commercial belt squat machine without the need for a costly, space consuming commercial unit.

And... the Mammoth Belt Squat seamlessly integrates with your existing squat rack! The belt squat has a modular design, meaning it fits ALL racks on the market. It will fit 5/8" holes and 1" holes. A padded and adjustable belt comes included with the belt squat at no extra charge. The belt has 3 sets of D-Rings on each side, allowing for a small, medium, and large fit.

Benefits of the Mammoth belt squat is no strain on back and shoulders and you can do a below parallel squat.

The key benefit of the Mammoth Belt Squat is that it relieves back and shoulder strain while squatting. Unlike traditional barbell back squats that can cause strain on your back and shoulders, the Mammoth Belt Squat loads the weight around your hips, relieving the pressure from your back completely. Since the weight is loaded lower on your body, your center of gravity remains low, providing more stability and balance while squatting.

If you're recovering from an injury or have limitations in mobility, the Mammoth Belt Squat offers a safer alternative to traditional squats.

The Mammoth belt squat weighs 33lbs with a 900lb weight capacity, has an adjustable length ranging from 39 inches to 48.75 inches, and fits all rack sizes on the market which include 1 inch holes and 5/8 inch holes.

The belt squat can be used for more than just squats. You can perform squats, lunges, deadlifts, calf-raises, bent over rows, and more with the belt squat attachment.

Attach a D-handle for bent over rows.

The kickstand allows you to start your sets at the top of the squat, without having to bend over and clip in from the bottom of the squat position. At 17" tall, the kickstand provides plenty of height to clip in from the upright position. It also features a tight, spring-loaded lever which holds it firmly in place and makes it easy to pull up and down between sets.

Spring loaded for an easy pull.

Save your knees, your back, and your wallet

The belt squat machine was created to address some of the problems associated with traditional barbell squats, such as back pain, knee pain, and tight elbows.

The Mammoth Belt Squat is also a great alternative for people who find the leg press or hack squat machines uncomfortable or problematic. This piece of equipment can help you strengthen your quads and glutes while taking pressure off your back and hips. One really important benefit of the Belt Squat Machine is that it allows you to load your legs without taking any additional load on your spine.

Attach the Fringe Sport Belt Squat to any rack, and target those glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Most belt squats are made as a whole stand alone machine, and this causes a problem. Solve that problem with the Attachable Belt Squat!

HOW TO WORKOUT WITH THE MAMMOTH BELT SQUAT

The Mammoth Belt Squat is compatible with ALL squat racks on the market.

  • 2" x 2" uprights
  • 2" x 3" uprights
  • 3" x 3" uprights
  • Fits all racks with either ⅝” or 1” holes.

Yes, the belt comes included with the belt squat.

The Mammoth Belt Squat provides a lower body workout that effectively targets the quads, hamstrings, and glutes without placing strain on the spine, unlike traditional barbell squats. This makes it an excellent option for individuals with back issues or those looking to reduce spinal loading. Additionally, belt squats promote better movement mechanics and can help improve squat depth and form. They also allow for safer, high-intensity training, contributing to increased muscle hypertrophy and strength gains.

The kickstand is 17" tall.

Belt squats can improve squat form by allowing lifters to focus on proper lower body mechanics without the pressure and balance challenges posed by a barbell on the shoulders. By removing the load from the spine and placing it on the hips, belt squats encourage a more upright torso position and proper alignment of the knees and feet. This setup helps lifters to engage the correct muscle groups, maintain a stable core, and achieve better depth in their squats.

Yes, we expanded the length of the Mammoth belt Squat to almost 49" so you can get a full range of motion and depth while squatting. It is designed to allow for a more natural and extensive range of motion, mimicking the movement of traditional squats more closely.

I enjoy squats with the Mammoth

It took me 54 years to learn about a lever belt squat, and I sure am glad I finally did. With a caveat, I enjoy squats again - no more pressure on my back. Here’s the caveat — I also recommend getting the Bulletproof Fitness Cloud 9 belt for use with the Mammoth. The Cloud 9 belt eliminated all tension in any part of my back while using the Mammoth. The Mammoth is easy to attach and detach from my rack, and takes up minimal space to store between leg workouts. As reflected in the included pictures, I’m ready to put on the double weight horn that has been patiently waiting on the sidelines of my garage.

Great so far. Time will tell.

Seems fine. Only loading to 500# seems decent. I plan on replacing the chain for the belt with a large carabiner, like all the videos demo. That small chain is a pain to hook to the eyelet I’m not sure why they just don’t include one. Works fine. See how it holds up after some use

Big difference

I compared this to my old belt squat and could feel the difference in “feel” weight. Big plus is the kick stand. Thank you for this.

Excellent

I love it. I attached it to a 2.3" up-right which isn't officially supported, but was easy to make it fit by adding a few washers around the spacer that goes right before the upright hinge - I am using it in the 2x2 configuration with the extra washers to fit the 2.3". The only issue I had was with the "feet" that came with it... but then I realized that you didn't really need them if using the kickstand. The problem with the feet was that the bolt would just spin inside of the rubber and you couldn't get the lock-nut on. One other minor issue is that you'll probably want to put some extra spacers as the 1st plate, or use some smaller change plates. If you use a large plate on the bottom, then it'll be too close to the kickstand lever and may interfere, so having another inch or so of space there is helpful.

Great Addition

I love my new Mammoth Belt Squat! I was in a car crash 20 years ago and since then any spinal compression exercises (like traditional squats) are a no-go for me. I got the Revolt Belt Squat, it was okay, but it was clunky. The Mammoth Belt Squat is amazing. I like the length of the lever, the included belt and the kickstand makes the starting position great. I also like the versatility--I currently have a 2x2 rack but I've ordered the DANE and can't wait to use my Mammoth Belt Squat with that.

Great Addition

Amazing product! Built to last and worth the price. If you love squats and training legs you’ll love the mammoth belt squat. Deep squats without the spinal fatigue is a game changer. Highly recommend the product and the kickstand is an amazing addition. I keep mine attached to one of the rear post. Solid rack attachment

Belt squat, wall mount

Love the belt squat. It’s twice as long as most others, So: the weight is near 1:1 ratio , vs 50-60% on many; and, since it’s a long ark, the motion is much more natural, because you’re not pulled forward, stressing your knees.

The wall mount gets it off my crowded rack and the kickstand makes it far easier/ safer to get into position. The included belt is nice with multiple attachment point, but not quite to Spud belt levels of padding

Great piece of equipment…

The Mammoth Belt Squat had become one of our favorite pieces of equipment to use.
From my athletes, patients, family and myself included, it’s creating a true love/hate relationship. But in the end, we all love it.

Kickstand - great addition to a great product

https://youtu.be/zSVlllDBq1g

This is an update to my purchase, I’m just dropping the video link here for the kickstand install since it doesn’t come with any instructions or an individual parts breakdown. Just hardware in a bag and you gotta figure it out yourself!!

Would love a piece by piece breakdown and an assembly sheet included instead of scouring the internet for any information on how to properly install.

Tip: install under the rubber stopper at the very end of the belt squat and move your weight horn to the sixth hole instead of the fifth hole (my savage bumper plates rub on the kickstand handle when it’s on the fifth hole. I ended up adding a higher spacer to the horn to get it out of the way and had no issues from there.

Overall 10/10 product but I have to give it a 1/10 for assembly process. Include a paper instruction set or a digital pdf on this page so we can assemble it easier. Thanks for the great products!

Great product

First and foremost: the assembly is not as forward as you’d think. The instructions are quite poor to be honest.

Included in my box was a parts list and an individual all parts breakdown which is nice, with numbers corresponding to each piece of hardware received. The only issue is that there was not another sheet saying which piece of hardware is what with pictures or a part number indicator. There are multiple sizes of bolts, washers, and nuts just thrown into a bag and you gotta figure it out yourself. There’s no step by step guide included either. The only videos I found online assembling this don’t explain what they’re doing or why and in the short video promoted by fringe, the guy doesn’t even assemble it correctly. He forgot the big washer that’s supposed to go under the horn. (You can even see it in the background behind the guy, like… cmon man).

You guys need to make an in depth assembly guide on this thing and explanations to whether to have it longer or shorter, where to place for correct height on your rack, how the stack ups go for hardware and all the good stuff like that.

Other than the bad assembly experience, the mammoth is pretty goated. I had a disc replaced in my neck that prevents me from traditionally squatting like I used to and this gets my legs working without the strain. 9/10 recommend this product, would be a 10/10 if assembly was better.

Also, the kickstand is kinda essential, at least for me it is. I bought the mammoth without it thinking it wouldn’t be an issue. I was wrong. I’m too tall to be bending over and clipping myself in. Do yourself a favor and get the kickstand. I just bought it and regret not getting it in the first place.

Legit

I purchased this for my home gym and the ability to bring it to work with me use it on the rig there. It’s been an awesome rehab addition for back injuries or if my back is taxed from the week and I still wanna thrash my legs. Also serves many other functions for back, pulls, rows, deadlifts.

Belt squat

Great quality and works great, easy to pit together. I am looking forward to getting the kickstand. The finish and beefiness of the materials look like they will last!

Great for a leg finisher

Love using this to finish off leg day, a breeze to install on the rack, and has a minimal footprint which is what I was looking for since I have a tiny home gym. Also the fact that it includes the belt had me win over, highly recommend this to burn out or lift heavy without much strain on your back.

Can't believe it

Wow game changer on my recovery. Squatting has been putting a lot of stress on my body, and this belt has really helped with lower back tightness and a quick recovery.

Update the site's labels on the Mammoth

Your website concealed on the option that the wall mount wouldn't arrive until February but it showed that the kickstand option wouldnt arrive until February so the options need relabeled for a better experience. When I mention it to a customer service rep all they did was send a picture of my invoice. I can not give a review of the experiences using my item because I still cannot use it.

Well Built Belt Squat

I have a love hate relationship with leg day. Let’s face it, leg day = squat day. Deadlift day and squat day are the two days I dread the most, but also my two favorites if that is even possible. I had never done belt squats before purchasing the Mammoth Belt Squat from Fringe Sport so I do not have any real-world experience for comparison. I made up for my lack of experience with a belt squat by doing a lot of research on the benefits and drawbacks and what makes one better than the other. There are both less and more expensive options out there but the Fringe Sport model was the best fit for what I wanted.

The best feature in my opinion is the adjustability. I have a 2x3 rack and fully intended to use it on the 2-inch side. Once I put it together to fit 2 inches I quickly realized that on my older rack there were no holes for the pin at the height I wanted to attach it. Luckily with this belt squat the fix was as easy as changing the spacer and a few bolts and now it fits on the 3-inch side of my rack with all the adjustment holes anyone would ever need (Westside hole spacing). It is nice that the length is also adjustable but I will bet that most will set it to the longest length. That brings up another benefit to this one over many others. The longer length helps to reduce the arc and offers a much more natural motion.

While the adjustability and length are the two features that I feel make this the best option, the build quality is also very heavy-duty. That combined with a long loading pin on the top will ensure that I will not outgrow the abilities of this attachment. This was also the only one I saw that included a belt…..and it is even a good belt!

The only downside for me is when I bought mine the kickstand was not available so I have been using a deadlift jack. That works fine for now but I do have the kickstand on order.

This will never replace the traditional back squat for me but I think it makes an excellent accessory movement on squat day. I like to do a normal squat workout and finish with some volume of belt squats to get that extra depth and stretch while giving my back a break from the hell it just went through. When the day is done, this piece of equipment can lean against the wall in a corner and take little to no floor space. Now that is a win!

Solid Equipment at Great Value

I bought the Mammoth Belt Squat so that I could work on my legs without having to load up my whole posterior chain to do it. The flexibility to target sometimes is great. The product is solid and works smoothly. I can appreciate the efficiency of the design that allows it to work on multiple sizes of racks. If you switch racks to one with bigger 3x3 or 2x3 uprights from 2x3 or 2x2, it will still fit. Assembly was easy, although I recommend using a real wrench and socket, rather than the included thin wrenches.

For me, the belt Fringe Sport includes with the belt squat was a little too big, almost with too much padding. So I use a different belt that I already had, but I really liked the fact that the Mammoth Belt Squat was usable immediately for people that didn't own a separate belt.

Using bulky bumper plates, rather than thinner iron plates, I can load up to five 45-pound plates on the weight horn.

The one negative at the time I bought my Mammoth Belt Squat was the lack of any kickstand. In my picture, you can see the cinderblock I use to hold the equipment in a position for me to hook the belt up, before kicking it out of the way and starting to do reps. One review I had read noted the lack of a kickstand being a drawback. It was, but not enough for me not to order. Fringe Sport has heard the feedback and now offers a kickstand, which should make the product even more usable and comfortable. I may put in an order for one to add to my existing Mammoth Belt Squat, which would bump it from 4 to 5 stars.

Overall, the piece is great and is used, and not sitting gathering dust. Money well spent.

ADD TO LEG DAY

The Fringe Sport Mammoth Belt Squat adds another option for leg day gainz other than back barbell squats. It was easy to assemble. Better design that other companies in my opinion and can potentially have add ons in the future. Waiting for the kickstand! Overall would recommend to anyone who takes leg day seriously. Especially if you get it on sale with extras. It is a good supplement to leg day training!

Belt Squat

The Fringe Sport Mammoth Belt Squat........listen to Coop, this collaboration from Kaizen and Fringe is legit. Honestly, I've had the Revolt Belt Squat and this is bar far superior in every way.

The longer arm definitely equals more load to the muscle which in turn means more GAINZZZZ! It is a tremendous value when you take into account its ease of set-up, use on all power racks or walls, and build quality.

Having a belt squat in the arsenal is a nice addition to a home gym. Squats are king, but sometimes the body needs a break and the belt squat can be a great exercise to sub in. It is a versatile piece that can be used in a variety of exercises.

Others have said, would be nice to have a kickstand and handles, but as was mentioned by Fringe and Kaizen, it is coming. Like most things from Fringe Sports, it is a high quality product that is priced right!

Thanks for the great collaboration!

Innovative Design, Supreme Comfort, Simplify Squatting

The Mammoth Belt Squat is a powerful tool that can help you build strength, improve your posture, and protect your knees and back. However, to get the most out of this machine, you need to set it up properly. First, make sure that the base of the machine is stable and secure. Check that all bolts are tightened and that the machine doesn't wobble or shake during use.

Next, attach the weight plates to the machine's weight pegs. Make sure that you add enough weight to provide resistance but don't overload the machine beyond your capacity. Adjust the height of the belt so that it sits at hip height. This will allow you to comfortably step into and out of the attachment while maintaining proper form. Once you're ready to start using the Mammoth Belt Squat, step onto its platform with your feet shoulder-width apart.

Position yourself above the belt squat attachment, lock in, and get started.

From here, push through your heels as you rise back up into a standing position. Keep your back straight and engage your core muscles throughout this movement. Finally, slowly lower yourself down into a squatting position until your thighs are parallel with the platform. Repeat this movement for several sets of reps as part of your workout routine.

What Muscle Groups can be Targeted on the Belt Squat?

The belt squat primarily targets the lower body muscle groups, including:

1. Quadriceps: The muscles on the front of the thighs are the primary target in the belt squat as they are responsible for knee extension.
2. Gluteus Maximus: The glutes are engaged during hip extension, especially while rising from the squat position.
3. Hamstrings: The muscles on the back of the thighs work as synergist muscles during the squat movement.
4. Hip Adductors: The inner thigh muscles also contribute to stabilizing the legs during squats.
5. Calves (Gastrocnemius and Soleus): The calves work as secondary muscles to stabilize the ankle joint during the squat movement.
6. Core Muscles (Abdominals and Lower Back): The core is engaged throughout the squat to maintain stability and proper posture during the exercise.

While the belt squat mainly focuses on the lower body muscles, it also offers an opportunity to work on your core strength and stability, making it a functional and effective exercise for overall strength and conditioning.
