Thinnest Full Cable Setup

Just 5" deep, 33" wide per tower, and 80" tall, delivering real cable training in spaces bulky machines cannot fit.

Rack-Ready 3x3 Uprights

Built by 3x3 uprights with 1" holes, compatible with J-cups, Front Feet, and standard rack attachments.

Modular Single or Dual Setup

Run a single tower for streamlined cable work or pair them up to build a functional trainer or crossover station without expanding your footprint.

Most cable machines demand more than just floor space. They take over your layout, block walkways, and force you to build your gym around them. Walls with doors or tight clearances often get written off entirely.

The Slim Gym changes that entirely.

At just 5" deep, 33" wide per tower, and 78" tall (85" w/ pull-up bar), Slim Gym is the thinnest way to bring true cable training into your space. Its low-profile height makes it easier to fit under standard residential ceilings while delivering serious performance in a footprint slimmer than most storage systems.

Run a single tower for focused cable work. Pair them up to create a functional trainer or crossover station. Add the protruding J-cups and Front Feet to unlock squat rack capability without sacrificing your footprint.

Built with 3x3 uprights and 1" holes, the Slim Gym integrates into our open ecosystem so your setup can evolve as your training grows.

One tower or two. Cable system or rack. Minimal footprint. Maximum capability.

Yes, most accessories that fit 3x3 racks with 1" holes will work on the Slim Gym. You will need to consider the distance from the wall, though. For example, our Mammoth Belt Squat and Dip Station will work.

Absolutely! At just 78" tall, the Slim Gym will fit in most basements.

Yes, with the optional protruding J-cups and front feet. However, the weight capacity will be limited by the wall mount.

Yes, the Drew is compatible with the Slim Gym.

No, they are not because the cable feeds in from the side.

Yes but only the horn with the rod.

It will be 78" tall or 85" w/ the pull-up bar.

The height with the bar totals to 85".

Front Feet are not required for standard cable training. The Slim Gym is rated to support up to 200lbs without them.

If you plan to lift heavier using Protruding J-Cups, we recommend adding Front Feet for enhanced stability. When installed, Slim Gym supports up to 350lbs.

They are designed to increase forward stability and provide a more planted feel as you push your training further.

The rack can be made as wide as 96".

Yes, it has to be mounted on the wall. Preferably to studs at the three mounting points. Wall lags are included with the Slim Gym.

Orders over 500lbs, full sixed racks, or oversized equipment will be flagged as freight at checkout and ship on an LTL (less-than-truckload) carrier with a scheduled delivery appointment.

This equipment was a MAJOR upgrade to my super flimsy plate loaded setup I had before. We can still park both cars in our garage and use the slim gym. The small footprint is honestly super impressive. I still had to put 2x4’s to the joists in the wall to mount this and it’s still shockingly slim. Super happy with this purchase. I’ve had it for 3 days and can’t wait to use this almost daily!

Slim Gym

After using it for about 2 weeks, its been phenomenal. I have two, approximately 48 inches apart from each other (inside to inside) with the pull-up attachment in the middle. Thats wide enough to do flys and raises. Worth the price and a complete space saver!

Install was a bit tough doing it solo, especially with the two-tower setup. Overall, though, it’s not bad. Only two bolts on each tower line up with the studs—the top ones didn’t match up.I really love the size. It works great as both a rack and a functional trainer. I canceled my gym membership and have been using this exclusively.I can still park my cars in the garage and don’t feel like I lost any space. So far, I love everything about it.

Love the Slim Gym

I'll start out by saying that I love the Slim Gym as it provides a ton of function and such a small footprint. My basement ceiling is only 80" high and every other functional trainer/rack that says it's 80" is actually like 83". As you can see from the photos, I really cant go any taller than this. I replaced a 78" half rack I frankensteined together with this and am much happier with how much space was opened up. My first workout with it was excellent. I still have a gym membership for heavy work which my joints want me to avoid. I found I was able to mimic a lot of free motion cable style exercises with different bench placements. The 2:1 ratio on the stack really wasnt hindering me as much as I assumed it may. Benching on it felt good, I like the J cups, I love that they came with mag pins. I wish I would use the pullup bar but just dont have the height. Cable travel is smooth as are the trolleys. The height they are shown at (fourth hole down) is as high as you can get them before they hit the top pulley. I will likely swap out the d handles for ones that offer an even longer set of options for doing seated bench variations so I dont have to reach so far behind me. I am looking forward to more accessories to come. Moving on to the install process: The install on the first side was easy enough, I used a combination of the paper instructions along with the youtube video. The YT video is key for figuring out the cables as I dont know I can gather it from the paper instructions. The second Slim Gym to turn it into a rack, did not go as smoothly. The reason for this is when you flip the direction of the middle upright that bolts to the wall to face the other direction, you no longer fall to 16" on center spacing and the wall side of the bracket is not long enough to reach nor are there mounting holes on the opposite side of the upright to put the brackets there. I think this is an oversight on the engineering and would like some different bracket options. I ended up cutting some heavy duty shelf brackets and drilling holes in them. I also had to mount the bracket on the wall prior to installing the chrome 3x3 or the middle upright. I was pretty frustrated at that point. I do not recall seeing anything about how the mounting may change when installing this way and my studs are standard 16" on center. I like that it fits tight to the wall but it also makes tightening the bolts a pain. The lower pulleys are extremely hard to tighten properly as the bolt head is too close to the upright to fit a socket over and the rear is very tight to the wall so you need two 17mm wrenches and incredible patience as you turn these 1/4 turn at a time. I was unable to secure the top mounting plates to my rack and just wish in general there were three or four spots down the middle uprights (both sides) where you could add mounting brackets.

Failure on 3rd workout

The trolly pop pin came out on the third workout. I don’t remember seeing any notes that you have to ensure that the pop pin is screwed in after you slide it on the chrome upright. I don’t see any way of being able to put it back together without having to take off the chrome upright and rerun cables. This is very frustrating because until I do that I have a very expensive wall decoration. Also the top bracket is no where near 16 inches from the bracket that goes on the inner support upright.

1. Super impressed with the service. Bryant was very patient and thorough with the buying process.2. Warehouse guys did a good job. Pleasant to interact with.3. Very happy with the product. Yet to put it to the full test but it’s a great fit in our 120 sq ft space.4. Instructions are not good. It’s the one missing piece that would take the purchase from an A- to an A+.a. Bottom pulley screw needs to be tightened early in the process otherwise you lose the opportunity.b. Better instructions need to be provided around the distance between the machines. I went with 27 inches but the distance between J cups is a little awkward when doing bench.

I needed cables that had a small footprint for my garage gym, this was exactly what I was looking for. Right now including the slim gym, I have a single squat rack rig with 3 pull up bars with bumper plates, dumbbells and kettle bells It fits perfectly next to my rig. It’s actually pretty easy to set up and use especially with the stabilizer foot, not taking a chance having it possibly tip over with kids in the garage. The instructions could be a little more detailed like how to route the cable, the direction to start and where to finish and bolt it. Also, not having us put all the pulleys on because I had to remove 3 of them to route the cable.

The Slim Jim is cool because it’s basically a build-your-own, modular functional trainer that takes up essentially no footprint. This is great for people with limited space and that just need an affordable and easy to use, low profile cable machine. However, I think it’s even more capable and unique than other options since it can even be configured to perform lighter barbell movements on if needed. What a great concept from Fringe Sport!

Perfect for a smaller home gym. The slim design is exactly what I was looking for. It doesn’t block my walkway and I still have room to move around. Install was easier than I thought and it feels very solid once mounted.

Space saver!

I train in a spare room that’s about 110 square feet, and space is always the thing that limits what I can add, but the Slim Gym fit like it was made for my wall. I mounted it next to a door and suddenly a spot I never used became my favorite place to train, without anything sticking out or getting in the way. After a few weeks of using it, I stopped thinking about the machine at all and just focused on my workouts, which says a lot in a tiny home gym. It feels like I gained a full new training option without giving up a single step of floor space.
