Perfect Storage Solution

Put the dumbbell storage shelf on the back of my Dane 2.0 and I’m very pleased on how it looks and the functionality it brings. I’m storing the Kodiak belt squat belt and handle, along with the 2.5 lb Midas Touch Fractional adder weights. My only wish would be to have the option to add a custom fit rubber mat liner. I know it’s meant for dumbbells, so it wouldn’t be necessary for that intended application though.

Nice Addition!

I have a another Texas brand’s rack , but I sport Fringe’s gear for everything else. This fits perfectly.The bottom was a little scratched up, but I can’t complain. I could stand the clinking of attachments, so I added barber clipper mats to reduce the noise.

Okay but Not great

This shelf doesn’t hold rubber dumbbells over 15lbs fully within itself. They hang over the edge a bit which is really dangerous. It’s a good quality build but almost useless in my home gym as I can only store 5,10, and 15lb rubber dumbbells. While I have lived every other product I’ve bought this one really missed the mark. Won’t purchase this again.

Heavy Duty!!

Great addition to my Dane 2.0. No issue installing it backwards since I had room behind the rack. Worked very well for my situation, I would definitely recommend.

Do not purchase this item if you own the Dane 2.0. It MUST be installed BACKWARDS if you want your cable system to still work.

For Dane 2.0 - Install it Backwards

This shelf is super heavy duty and really doesn’t job well but it’s pretty ridiculous that this thing has to be installed backwards to fit on the Dane 2.0. I think the shelf was a bit of an afterthought when they added it to the recommended products list.. really should’ve been engineered a little bit differently to properly fit this rack, but it does this job very well if you have the space to put it on backwards and scoot the rack a little farther away from the wall to accommodate for that.

Dane 2.0 Install Backwards, But Nice Shelf...

Ordered 2 of these nice expensive shelves to install on the nice Dane 2.0. Turns out, they don't fit as they are supposed to and you have to install them backwards. There's now a video link in the description for the shelves that describe that. They also mention that when you have to install these shelves backwards to fit in the Dane 2.0, they stick out the back... If they tailored the design of the shelves a little, they could have accounted for this. I also found the accessories I ordered: these shelves, the peg board, and the multi grip pull up bar to be more difficult to install than the rest of the rack. They are after thoughts and feel like it when you install them. However, if you look at what you have ordered plus the rack instructions, and think about how it all should go together, you can get it all built. Just be aware of the impact of shelves going in backwards.

This has to be mounted backwards to clear the weight stack, which should be mentioned here but isn't. A simple design tweak to narrow the shelf on the corners to clear the weight stack is all it would take but. Now I need to figure out what I need to do with this thing since this does not work with my amazing new rack
