Belt Squat

The Fringe Sport Mammoth Belt Squat........listen to Coop, this collaboration from Kaizen and Fringe is legit. Honestly, I've had the Revolt Belt Squat and this is bar far superior in every way. The longer arm definitely equals more load to the muscle which in turn means more GAINZZZZ! It is a tremendous value when you take into account its ease of set-up, use on all power racks or walls, and build quality. Having a belt squat in the arsenal is a nice addition to a home gym. Squats are king, but sometimes the body needs a break and the belt squat can be a great exercise to sub in. It is a versatile piece that can be used in a variety of exercises. Others have said, would be nice to have a kickstand and handles, but as was mentioned by Fringe and Kaizen, it is coming. Like most things from Fringe Sports, it is a high quality product that is priced right! Thanks for the great collaboration!

Belt Squat

I purchased the Mammoth Belt Squat with wall stud attachment and it's been a great addition to my home gym. I am able to squat deep and do calf raises all without taxing my lower back. Barbell squats, front squats etc still have their place in my programming but the belt squat has given me the ability to squat without always loading my spine. I will be purchasing the kickstand and hand attachment when they come out. For the price there is no better belt squat on the market. Easy purchasing decision and the included belt is thick and comfortable.

Belt Squat

This product is far superior in comparison to other products in this category (I had the other leading rack mounted belt squat and this is hands down better). It is longer which gives a more natural force arc, the price point is competitive versus others of less quality & it comes with a belt. A pleasant surprise is that the belt is far more comfortable than the spud inc belt which I also own. Under high load, the spud inc belt digs into your hips and would bruise my "love handle" area while the included fringe belt is still comfortable under high load. Also, the fringe belt is less expensive if you only need a belt. Really good product & really good value. Win-Win. Very happy with my purchase.

Mammoth Value

Overall, its a great value belt squat attachment, and it comes with a (comfortable-ish) belt! I like that the lever arm length is adjustable. The cheaper options available at this time usually have a much shorter lever arm. With the longer lever, I'm able to get into a position with minimal shear force at the bottom. Very easy on-off with just a single hitch pin to attach it to your rack. Currently, I have mine set up suspended to a spotter arm using a spare eye bolt and chain, so that I can get into a better start position. The spotter arm also acts as a place for me to position my hands during the movement. Things to note: The holes on the unit are not standard 5/8" with 2" spacing on center, so YMMV if you plan on adding attachments to the 2x3" crossmember. From my measurements, the hole sizing is 18 mm (about 3/4") and spacing is 60 mm (about 2-3/8") on center. This means a typical weight storage horn that you might attach to your rack might not fit without modification. So if you're thinking of a DIY side-loading option, you may have to get creative. Additionally, I replaced the included hardware with my own to get a more snug fit between the adjustable arm and the 2x3" crossmember. For anyone interested, I used M18 x 120 mm bolts. I would recommend this product for anyone that wants a belt squat, but is not able to afford or fit a larger standalone unit in their space. If you're looking for a quality belt squat attachment from a reputable company at a fair price, you should definitely consider this product. Looking forward to seeing the development of a kickstand!
