I really like Fringe and I really like these weights, they contrast nicely with my black rack. There are some quality control issues with products and this isn't the first item I received something from them with damages. I bought a 4-pack and mine came with a decent amount of scuffs and cuts, which was a deal breaker for a vanity item. After reading the reviews about magnets, I tested mine and only 1 out of the 12 magnets falls out. Overall I'm happy with my Fringe stuff, but I'm putting this review so that they improve the quality control.

These seem pretty overbuilt, they look great and the design of fitting on barbells and plate storage is great.I liked being able to throw them on a cable trainer to better progressive overload, but I just don’t know how practical the magnets are. I love the design of these you can throw them on a barbell or around the cable weight stack, but the magnets seem unnecessary. They are so strong it’s actually difficult to just pull them off. Additionally when you slide them they scratch up whatever surface pretty badly. I don’t want to store them next to my plates with metal cores, or on any of my other surfaces that aren’t already beat up.

Admittedly, I bought these strictly for their looks, and they absolutely deliver in that department. They look fantastic, fit great on my rack, and do exactly what they're supposed to do. Way better than what you'd find on Amazon.My only issue is that the magnets feel like more trouble than they're worth. They're definitely strong enough to store the weights vertically, but be careful because depending on what you stick them to, they can be difficult to remove. I usually have to slide them off, and that can leave scratches on whatever you attach these to. I ended up solving this by covering the backs with UHMW tape.Given the price, I don't think I should have to modify them at all, which is why I'm giving them four stars instead of five. They should come with some sort of scratch resistant backing built in, or just swap the magnets for some anti slip pads. I'd be just as happy storing these on a shelf or a weight horn.

With the Dane 2.0 1:1 pulley ratio, this is a must have. Works much better than hanging an adder weight off the selector pin. It also looks cool.

Bought the Dane 2.0 a month ago and found the 10lb weight jumps on the stack are challenging. Was excited to get the Midas fractional weights to help with this. Just got them in and surprised at the finish of the product. Sharp edges and the machining for each piece gives them each a unique appearance, not uniform. I placed them on the rack to check the magnet strength and they are strong! I don't mind that. I pulled them off the rack and two magnets came off. First time using them! I like the look of them. They are a nice addition to a 1:1 pulley system, but the quality control seems lacking. For the amount of money I paid for these I expect them to be better.

The magnets are strong and stick extremely well to your weight stack plates and come out of the bottom holes. I continuously reglue them in with Gorilla glue. Unfortunately one magnet is cracked and I have trouble getting the pieces back into the hole. I have a picture to attach but this review request on my phone does not allow it to be attached.

Solid weights but at this premium you'd expect the magnets to stay in place. I know epoxy will fix it but again shouldn't be a necessary fix. Team was helpful in reaching out.

Not sure that these were worth having to wait 4 months to receive. The magnets are very strong which is only a problem when they pop out of the weight which happens to be every time you move them. Hopefully they’ve fixed their supply chain issues.

This is the first of many products I've purchased from Fringe that I wouldn't give 5 stars to. A little disappointed that after my first use the magnets came out of 2 of the slots. Nothing a little super glue can't fix (I hope, we will see long term) but that was a little disappointing. Ideally embedding the magnets in the metal would be cool although I understand that may raise the pricing. I've thought about removing the magnets to not deal with the issue, but part of the reason I bought them was to store them on my rack. Other than that, they do the job admirably however.

I ordered them in January and was notified they were on backorder due to manufacturing quality issues. I received them in April. I tested them on my cable machine weight stack and they fit nice and look great. But as soon as I pulled them off the weight stack, one magnet from 2 of the 4 that I ordered stayed stuck to the weight stack. I haven't even had a chance to use them during a workout yet. I hope some epoxy will help.

I love this product it was exactly what I was looking for. It goes well with the Dane 2.0. my only problem is the magnets. I don't know if they are too strong or what but the first time I used them, they came out! Maybe the adhesive is not strong enough or maybe it didn't adhere properly. Other than that this product would be perfect
