What You Need to Know About Our Foldable Wall-Mount Dip Bar

Our Foldable Wall Mount Dip Bar is a must have for your garage gym! With the ability to fold down while not in use, you can easily mount it on any wall in your garage gym. With the ability to securely lock in place, it makes it easy to workout in the comfort of your garage gym.

  • Dip bar is tapered so you can work different muscle groups. Place hands closer to towards the wall for a narrower grip and further out for a wider grip.
  • A pin securely locks the dip bar in place when retracted.
  • Can fold upwards or downwards to stow when not in use.
  • Mounting Suggestion: It is best to anchor to (2) 2x6's or 2x8's spanning across 2-3 studs with lag bolts before you mount the dip bar to sheetrock or drywall.

Can I mount this to a cinder block wall, into the concrete mortar?

  • It is not recommended to mount this directly to a concrete wall.  We suggest adding a wood stringer (piece of wood attached to the wall) and then attach the dip station to this stringer.

Can this be mounted to a pole outside?

  • You can mount this outside, but you wouldn't be able to mount to a pole, unless it was wide enough to be able to attach the mounting plate. It would need to be mounted to a wider area, due to the size of the back mounting plate, which needs to be on a wide enough area to hold it steady.

It’s a chore to secure it to the wall, but so long as you do it right, it’s a wonderful addition to the home gym. I love that it easily folds down to save space. It’s solid!

Perfect fit!

Was looking for something that folded flush since I don’t have room for a “power tower” or other free standing. This was perfect. Mounted as suggested with 2 2x6s and 8 lag bolts to studs. My only wish was that the bar was a slightly smaller diameter. Fair trade off for the room it saves.

Performs as described, takes time to mount

Once mounted correctly, it is a very solid piece of exercise equipment, which folds down nicely. As many others have noted, this can't be mounted directly to a regular interior wall because you will only get one of the four screws into a stud and the other three would use plastic wall anchors into drywall which will not hold up over time. I attached a piece of 2x12 to my cinderblock garage wall, then mounted the dip bar to this. Couldn't use the supplied lag screws - needed longer screws to secure the 2x12, and shorter screws to mount the dip bar plate to the 2x12.

Best Dip Bars I’ve ever used

These are the best dip bars I’ve ever used. They are completely stable, no wobbling or bending. The bars are made from fat tubes that fit my hands well, no discomfort from pressure in the palms. The spacing of the bars is ideal. I replaced a free-standing combination dip/pull-up station with these. I am completely satisfied.
