Vertical Barbell & Bumper Plate Holder

I am very pleased with this stand. It is very well built. I also purchased the optional wheels.. I highly recommend getting them! Easy to move and each wheel locks. I painted the front sport name plates. And the uprights white to go with my bench and rack!

I just set up my plate tree and am pleasantly surprised at just how high-quality it is for the money! It has a nice powder coat and was easy to assemble in a short amount of time. I would definitely recommend this product!

I purchased this plate tree because because it is one of only two options on the market with holes on the base to mount extra storage. The only competitor with those holes does not come with the 2 bar holders welded on, so I went with this product despite the other option being made in America by most respected brand in the industry.

This is made from 11 gauge 2.3'x2.3' tubing, so it is sturdy and beefy. The wheels work well and it moves easily with 920 lb. loaded on it. The welds appear smooth and of decent quality. I have no doubt this will perform its function well and last a lifetime.

Despite those positives, I do have some notable complaints. This arrived in a cardboard box with thin plastic sleeves for packaging and every single piece had noticeable, prominent powder coat damage. It was scraped, scratched, or chipped off of every single component in the box. Some of the plastic end caps for the base and weight horns were gouged and don't line up properly. Once the tree is assembled and filled with plates the damage is fairly well hidden, but when this is a premium priced product - the highest MSRP plate tree on the market - I expect much more. I understand it will get beat up in time, but I'd rather damage my products all on my own. For Fringe to sell me a Chinese import product for more money and less quality than American is disappointing... but it will always allow me to store 2 more bars than the competitor ever will.

If you can get this on sale or with a discount for local pick-up then I would consider it, but if not I would recommend you buy from the Big "R" company and receive a better quality delivered product.

This holder works just right for my garage set-up. I've used Fringe Sport to outfit most of my equipment in my garage gym. They are great folks, with excellent products and prices. Definitely recommend.

It's spacious, sturdy, easy to assemble, and manageable to move. I'll probably never need to buy another weight tree.My only real complaint is that the metal bolts that hold the weight pegs in place stick out enough that plates make contact with them, potentially leading to plate damage. It would be nice for Fringe Sport to provide some cheap rubber caps for protection, especially at this price point.There was also a substantial amount of black residue on the insides of the barbell holders when it arrived, but that is barely worth mentioning.

This item was a disappointment. I ordered based on the pics I saw - when you look at the tree online, the tubing has holes like rack tubing holes and I planned to mount various things to the tubing. I saw some of the pics didn’t show the holes, but the ones with caster wheels did show holes. So I ordered it and got the caster wheels thinking it had something to do with that. I received the tree and obviously it didn’t have holes. I reached out to customer service and I was given the run around on finding out how this happened, etc, then instructed how to drill holes in it myself if I wanted to. I’m sure this requires an expensive bit according to their instructions and you just hope you don’t screw up this $270 product you bought that didn’t come as advertised! Good luck. I have had good customer service with fringe in the past so I was going to let this go… but I realized recently that I keep getting these “please review our product” emails over and over for other things I’ve bought. So I searched my email today and you know what they haven’t asked me to review?? This item… soo I guess they have a system in place where if you complain or have issue, they don’t want you to review it? I don’t like that. Giving them the benefit of the doubt… even still… I just got onto their website hoping they modified and at least removed the pictures of the old model item that has holes in the tubing and nope, not even that. So here is my review to let you know… IF you see those pictures and you wanted this tree for that reason, don’t go for it. Otherwise, it’s sturdy and it holds weight, but there are cheaper weight trees out there that are just as Saturday and hold weights. In this particular dealing with Fringe, I’m disappointed because this is not a cheap item and the solution offered felt very DIY, not exuding great customer care.

I was hesitant to buy this one vs others based on price, but I decided to because I've had great experience with other Fringe Sport equipment. I'm glad I did because this is super high quality, very sturdy, and well thought out. I keep an EZ curl bar in one of the barbell spots, and theres enough room between plates for the EZ curl bar to be stored in its widest orientation. I'd highly recommend Fringe products

I bought the vertical barbell and bumper plate holder 5 years ago. It has been great. It does everything it is advertised to do and it is built like a tank. I recently moved and the movers lost an end cap. It was purely cosmetic (the weight holder still worked great). But it bothered me. I reached out to Fringe Sport and they shipped me a new end cap. Talk about customer service…5 years after the purchase, there was nothing flawed with the equipment, but they wanted to make sure their customers loved their equipment. Fringe Sport customer for life!

Overall a very sturdy holder. Better than I expected. The staffs that hold the weight can accommodate / hold 3 to 4 fat bumper with ease. I have one small issue - the exposed bolts on the upright may damage rubber bumpers if you’re not careful loading them on. Regardless, I am glad I purchased this - I’m sure it will be holding weights a long time. No buyers remorse - which I probably would have if I bought something similar one off Amazon.

This tree is heavy duty with good hardware and welds. The powder coating is as good as my Rogue wall rack. NOT CHEAP PAINT. It even has plastic inserts to protect your bars. One arm will hold the Savage 55, 45, 35, 25 . This is a One and Done type purchase.

The wheels are key! They make it very easy to move around any amount of weight and really helps with tight spaces.

Very easy to put together. Instructions were clear and material feels solid. I even broke out into a sweat putting it together! I had the bumper stacker for the past couple of years, and I loved that product, too, but you can end up with bumpers lying all around during a workout. This rack makes is SO easy to switch out plates. It takes up a slightly larger footprint than the stacker, but also holds 3x as many plates and 2 bars! The wheels make it easy to tuck into a corner when not in use. Highly recommend!
