Return shipping is covered by Fringe Sport for the first three years after your purchase. After the 3 year period, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. Warranty applies for residential use only.

Durometer is a measure of the hardness of a material. It ranges from 0-100, and the higher the rating the harder the material, and the higher the material's resistance to indentation. Anything above 65 is acceptable for bumper plates. Our plates are considered to be excellent.
In general, the lighter bumper plates have a higher durometer reading because they need to be more rigid to withstand the stress of being dropped. Heavier plates have more surface area to distribute the stress, so they do not need to be as hard.
Most Fringe Sport bumper plates are the IWF standard 450mm (~17.7") width in diameter, with +/-1.5mm variance. The ten-pound Fringe Sport bumpers are 445mm (17.5") in diameter.
The ten-pound bumper plates are purposefully 5mm narrower than the other bumper plates so that when you have 10's loaded on the bar, plus other bumpers, the 10-pound plates impact the ground a split second later than the other bumpers. Since the 10-pound plates have the least surface area and are thus the weakest bumpers, this saves stress on your 10 pounders!
Sometimes the bumpers smell due to the way that they are made. It isn't permanent. The best remedy is to let them air out in the sun for about 5 days.
The bumpers are greased as a part of the manufacturing process. Sometimes the factory doesn't clean the plates well enough. Here's what we do to de-grease these bad boys. We wash the bumpers about 3 times, with paper towels, soap, and water. If that doesn't work, then we use a de-greaser spray that can be purchased at a local home improvement store.
Drop away. We are confident that our 10-pound bumper plates can handle the abuse, and they are backed by our fully comprehensive warranty for 1 year just in case.
Some of our plates go through random spot checks by different quality assurance teams. The star simply means your plate passed inspection. There are no differences in quality between plates with or without stars!

I was able to get a great discount on a 230 lbs set of black bumper plates. These plates have held strong with some dropping and some heavy lifts on my barbell. To put 10 lbs plates on only and be able to drop them without worry of cracking or splitting is a great product. While they are all black I plan on adding some color to be able to quickly identify the different weights. I am very pleased with my purchase so far and look forward to purchasing other products in the near future for my at home gym.

At the same time I live by you get what you pay for so initially I was wary but after some research on YouTube and Facebook home gym groups, I was sold. I opened my own CrossFit box way back in 2016, and went with Fringe Sport because of their pricing, and those amazing 10lb plates. You can beat the snot out of those plates, and they just keep on taking it. So, fast forward to 2023, I’m retired, sold the box, and am setting up a gym at home, and went back to Fringe for another set of their bumper plates. And on top of everything else, the customer support I have received for years now is outstanding! Great sense of humor, and very helpful! You will never regret buying through them.

Real nice bumpers; glad there are 6 45’s in this bundle. In hindsight… Slightly irritated that I bought a set that has 10,15,25 lb plates— I thought too much about the price per lb and not the practicality.The 15 lb plates really have no place if buying some change plates, and I wish I had 35’s instead of the 15’s for convenience.

Purchased a full set of bumpers, pleased with the quality except. The lettering is black on black and is very hard to read. I ended up taking a oil-based paint pen to them and now they are perfect. I like these, but in some ways I wish I spent a little extra and got the color bumpers.

Since I have 20/20 vision I didn’t think it would be that hard to tell the weight plates apart, but it’s actually pretty difficult at times since the numbers on the plates are sold black too.
