  • Built for Real Home Gyms: With a starting height of just 81", Fenrir fits comfortably in basements and low-ceiling spaces where most functional trainers simply won’t.

Functional Trainer Meets Real Rack

The classic functional trainer you know, now built with 3×3 uprights and 1" holes using standard rack spacing. Train cable movements, rack a barbell, and unlock even more function with a full ecosystem of rack attachments.

Built to Save Space

We kept tight spaces in mind when constructing this rack. The Fenrir measures just 47" deep with the front feet, and only 26" without them, keeping your gym open and usable.

Smooth Cables, Serious Resistance

The Fenrir's 2:1 pulley ratio paired with dual 160 lbs stack delivers controlled resistance for isolation work while still giving you enough weight for demanding pulls, rows, and presses.

Functional trainers are versatile. Until you want to lift heavy.

Most cable machines are great for flys, curls, and accessory work. But when it’s time to squat, press, or train with a barbell, you still need a separate rack. That means more equipment, more space, and a setup that quickly takes over your gym.

The Fenrir changes that. Built around true rack dimensions, The Fenrir uses 3×3 steel uprights with 1-inch holes spaced exactly like a standard squat rack. You can run cable movements, then step straight into barbell squats, presses, and rack work without switching machines.

And all in one small footprint.

Despite the capability, Fenrir stays compact enough for tight gym spaces, while the 2:1 pulley ratio and dual 160lb stacks deliver smooth resistance for everything from lighter isolation work to heavier pulling movements.

A true functional trainer and a real rack, built into one machine.

The Future of Functional Trainers Is HERE

"This Rack Changes Everything"

Fenrir stands 87.5" tall with the multi-grip bar and 81" tall with the straight bar, making it suitable for most home gyms, including lower ceiling spaces.

Fenrir measures 47" deep with the front feet installed, and just 26" deep without them, giving you flexibility based on your space and setup.

Fenrir works with a wide range of standard rack attachments. Compatible options include the Drew, Mammoth Belt Squat, El Toro Weight Horns, J-Cups, and Spotter Arms. If you’re unsure about a specific attachment, reach out to our team and we’ll help you confirm fit.

Yes. The Fenrir is built with 3×3 uprights and 1" holes, so you can add J-cups or spotter arms and train just like you would on a standard squat rack.

Fantastic Functional Trainer Held Back by a Few Small Oversights

Overall, I'm very happy with the Fenrir. The quality is excellent, especially considering the price. Assembly was straightforward, and the unit operates smoothly while maintaining a relatively small footprint, making it a great option for home gyms with limited space.

That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. The gap between the pulleys on the adjustable trolleys is slightly too wide, which allows the cable to slip between them at certain angles. When this happens, the cable can bind and cause the weight stack to stick. I was able to minimize the problem by squeezing the pulleys closer together, but the cable still occasionally rides between them. While it no longer gets stuck, you can feel the added friction during use, which takes away from an otherwise very smooth experience.

My other complaints are with the optional J-cups and safety spotter arms. These accessories don't seem to match the quality and attention to detail found in the rest of the unit. The J-cups do not include any UHMW plastic liners, so they sit metal-on-metal against the uprights, which can lead to scratches and unnecessary wear.

The safety spotter arms are sturdy, fit well, and feel very robust. However, they are not the same design as those shown in the product photos. The included spotter arms use 5/8-inch accessory holes instead of the 1-inch holes used throughout the rest of the rack. This feels like an oversight, as it limits compatibility with rack attachments and creates inconsistency across the system.

Despite these issues, the core unit itself is outstanding. The build quality, smooth operation, ease of assembly, and space-efficient design make it an excellent value. With a few improvements to the cable trolley design and accessory package, it would be close to perfect.

Works great!

For the most part, everything looks great and works great. It went together easily. There needs to be more information about how far the unit should come out from the wall if using it as a squat rack and lifting rack so you don't have to take everything apart to move it if the barbell ends are too close to your walls when placed in a corner. The only issue I have had is that when doing movements where I'm not right in front of the trolley...so the bands have to come out diagonally...they sometimes won't go all the way back in because they slip out of the pulley track.. When trying to set the weights back to the original position.

The Fenrir

Amazing! It’s a perfect set up for my garage gym. I’m glad I went with the fenrir, as much as I had my eyes on the Dane 2.0 I do have some height restrictions in my garage. I did purchase most of the attachments (Gibbon arms) however I’m still waiting for you guys to roll out a trolly for them. Any updates or time frame on a trolley for the gibbon arms so it’s compatible with the Fenrir? I would greatly appreciate it thank you.

Best all in one combo

Heavy duty 3x3 uprights and dual weight stacks give me everything I need. I was limited on ceiling height and flipped the multi grip pull up bar upside down. This hack might work for others that don’t want to use the straight bar and are not tall. I highly recommend this unit.

FENRIR HELPED MAXIMIZE MY USABLE SPACE GREAT VALUE

I’ve wanted a functional trainer in my garage gym for a long time. I couldn’t find the right piece that fit my very limited space. I also have 2 racks from Sorinex and Prime. Planning my setup around those made things interesting to say the least. Enter the Fenrir. I had to get a little creative with the placement of the feet extensions as those took up too much floor space when installed as designed. I ended up installing them backwards and I used the 1” holes for attachment storage instead. I don’t plan on using this as a squat rack or to bench press out of. It’s nice to know that I can do that but for me, the primary purpose of this rack is to be a functional trainer. The pulleys are smooth, the finish is eye candy and the 160lb dual weight stacks are more than adequate for my needs. Yes, it’s a 2:1 ratio but that makes doing accessory work practical. I don’t plan on using this for super heavy lifts like lat pulldowns or rows. I already have equipment for that type of thing. Don’t get me wrong, you could absolutely do those things on the Fenrir with the right attachments, that’s just not what I’m using it for. You can also use gym pins or whatever version of pin you may have to add your weight plates to the stacks. The trolleys slide along the uprights like butter. I lubed everything up so I don’t anticipate running into any issues. I love the cutout window that allows you to see the laser cut numbers on the uprights. There is a nice satisfying click whenever the trolleys are adjusted up or down. The included d handles are adequate and I use them often but if you’re anything like me, you may want to swap those out for a pair with some knurling. I’ve used the Fenrir with the weight stacks maxed out and it never made me feel like it was going to tip over. This thing is planted. I’m very pleased with my purchase and the customer support from Fringe. Shipping was quick and building the Fenrir was pretty straight forward. I would recommend reading the assembly instructions and watching the video ahead of time so you can better prepare and catch things like how high to place the peg boards. Oh, I also attached my Mammoth belt squat via the Swan Neck to the Fenrir. Now I don’t have to leave that propped up against a wall somewhere. If you’re in the market for a functional trainer then you can’t go wrong with the Fenrir. I’m interested to see if the Gibbon arms can be used with this. It’s my understanding that an adapter is in the works.

Ideal piece for home gym

An Absolute Game-Changer for Serious Home Gyms!True functional trainers usually take up half a commercial facility. The Fenrir gives you two fully independent cable columns and dual weight stacks, but with a highly optimized footprint that easily fits into a standard home gym layout. With easily adjustable columns, you can go from heavy lat pull-downs and low rows to chest flies, tricep presses, and functional core work in seconds. The integrated pull-up bar at the top adds even more value to the frame.Fringe Sport didn't skimp on the build quality. The steel frame is incredibly stable, meaning no rocking or shifting even when you're pulling heavy weight or doing explosive movements. It feels just as rugged as any machine you'd find in a high-end commercial gym.Bottom Line: A functional trainer is the ultimate centerpiece for any serious home training space, and the Fenrir delivers premium performance without compromise. It is an investment in your training that will easily last a lifetime. Highly recommended

Amazing Equipment

Having the Fenrir allows me to do anything i could do in a commercial gym from the comfort of my own home. It was very easy to set up, has ultra smooth pulleys, and is built like a tank. I truly could not be happier with my purchase.

Compact, Solid, and Super Versatile

I’ve been really happy with this rack so far. I wanted something that could handle the main barbell lifts but also give me cable options without needing a separate functional trainer, and this checked both boxes. It feels solid, the cables are smooth, and it gives me a lot more variety in my workouts without taking up a ton of extra space. For a home gym setup, it’s been a really good fit and I’d definitely recommend it.

The Installation was smooth!

The install was smooth. I did it by utilizing a combo of the 13 minuteYouTube video and the paper instructions. I don’t think I would have beenable to get it done if I didn’t have both in partnership together. Both hadlittle details in it that the other didn’t. For example in the video andtells you where to install the peg board to not get in the way if you use aweight horn. I did not see that listed in the instructions, so I was happyto use both. I’d include a QR code on the instructions to link to thevideo. Just a small suggestion. The build took me around 5 hours but I was happy to know it’s something Icould build all by myself and it wasn’t hard there is just a lot to it asexpected. The design is great. It fits in my corner perfectly. I haven’tgotten to workout on it yet just run a few tests but everything is supersmooth.I’ll be a fringe user for life now. True believe in what yall are trying toaccomplish. Feel free to send me anything in the future you’d like me totest out.
