Universal Rack Compatibility

Fits any 3x3 rack with 1” or 5/8” holes. While many competitor attachments lock you into one rack brand or require extra adapters, Dragonfly’s open design mounts seamlessly—forward or reverse. No restrictions, no frustration.

Total Adjustability, Infinite Options

Customize your resistance and motion. Dual weight horns, adjustable wings, and threaded handle ends give endless configurations. Most attachments offer a single resistance path; Dragonfly evolves with your training.

Secure, Smooth, and Space-Smart

Every detail is built for flow. Where other attachments rattle or swing, Dragonfly locks tight and folds neatly for clean storage. Lightweight for setup, solid for training—it’s efficiency and performance combined.

Most rack attachments stop at compound lifts. The Dragonfly goes further—bringing commercial-grade isolation training to your rack with unmatched smoothness and control. Unlike bulky isolation machines that eat up space or cheap imported add-ons that wobble and stick, the Dragonfly delivers machine-quality precision in a compact, rock-solid design.

It’s engineered for bodybuilders and home gym athletes who want more out of their racks—those chasing symmetry, shoulder balance, and smooth, controlled resistance without needing multiple machines. Stronger shoulders, fuller delts, and a premium lifting experience all come together in one sleek, rack-mounted unit.

No gimmicks, no clutter—just pure, controlled motion that performs better, feels smoother, and looks sharper than anything else in its class.

COMPACT ALL-in-ONE SHOULDER STATION

Turn your rack into a complete delt developer. Competing attachments often require multiple add-ons to hit all heads of the shoulder; Dragonfly does it all in one space-saving design.

ADJUSTABLE STRENGTH CURVE FOR MAXIMUM CONTROL

Train your shoulders your way. With dual weight horns, you can fine-tune the strength curve—making resistance peak at the top, middle, or bottom of your movement. Unlike fixed-path attachments that lock you into one motion, the Dragonfly adapts to your strength pattern for better engagement and zero joint strain.

FAST, FRICTION-FREE SETUP

Dial in your perfect start and end positions with magpins and an adjustable head dial.
While cheaper attachments require tools or constant readjustments, the Dragonfly stays smooth and stable thanks to precision-engineered bearings.

SPACE - EFFICIENT, SECURE and VERSATILE

When your session’s done, fold and lock every moving part in place—no swinging arms, no clutter, no wasted space. Mount it on your rack or use the dedicated wall mount for compact storage and setup flexibility. While other systems trade stability for size, the Dragonfly gives you both—solid as steel, sleek as it gets.

KNURLED HANDLES and PREMIUM BUILD

Experience commercial-grade comfort and precision in a rack-mounted form.
Symmetrical mounting allows forward or reverse setup, giving total flexibility for your preferred training angle.

OPEN ECOSYSTEM FIT

Our squat rack attachments are built with an open ecosystem design so they work seamlessly across a wide range of rack brands. This approach gives you more flexibility in how you build your gym and more confidence that your equipment will continue to work as your setup evolves.

To support this, select attachments include UHMW protective pads and thin shims at key contact points. These are NOT add-ons or workarounds. They are a deliberate part of the design that allows the attachment to sit cleanly, securely, and consistently on racks with slightly different tubing specs.

Rack tubing thickness can vary by manufacturer and country of origin. The included UHMW shims make it easy to dial in the fit for your specific rack, resulting in a tight, stable mount while also protecting your rack’s finish. No extra parts or purchases are needed.

INSTALLATION GUIDANCE

RACKS MANUFACTURED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

These racks typically use slightly thinner tubing.

  • Keep all UHMW shims in place
  • Install the attachment as normal

RACKS MANUFACTURED IN THE UNITED STATES

U.S. made racks often use slightly thicker tubing.

  • Remove only the thin UHMW shims
  • Keep the protective pads in place and install

Once installed, the attachment delivers a solid, secure feel across compatible rack brands, with the same performance and stability you would expect from a rack-specific design.

No. It’s designed to be lightweight and easy to handle, with quick height adjustments and multiple starting positions. Setup takes only a few seconds, making it much simpler than most isolation machines.

Yes. While it’s rack-mounted and compact, the Dragonfly delivers the same isolation benefits of those bulky machines—without the size, cost, or hassle.

Yes. Many pivot-arm style attachments create “dead zones” in resistance. The Dragonfly’s dual wing positions, weight pegs, and band/cable integration ensure smooth, consistent tension across the entire range of motion.

Yes. Unlike bulkier designs that swing or get in the way, the Dragonfly’s moving parts lock securely for storage and can even be mounted to a wall or storage rack.

Yes. Complicated pin systems and spin locks slow down workouts with other attachments. The Dragonfly uses a simple magpin and lightweight design, making transitions fast and frustration-free.

Yes. Its threaded handle ends are designed for future add-ons and extensions, meaning your Dragonfly evolves with your training instead of becoming outdated.

For the price and functionality, this piece is great. However, while it fits just fine on a rep storage upright, getting it onto a rogue upright is near impossible.

No extended handles

When this was released, Fringe stated that they would be releasing extension handles to attach to the dragonfly. This would be particularly helpful for chest flies as the handles are short. The handles were never released. It feels like a bought into a kick starter rather than a completed product. I’ve heard the Rorman strength megalith handles can be attached to this with m10 threaded rods, so I may try that out

We are still launching the handles but after some feedback we changed alittle.

Great alternative to freestanding machine

Initially I only intended to try this out to see if I wanted this or a free standing lateral raise machine. I am keeping it . I bought it 2 days before the most recent sale and Fringe sport offered me the sale price and sent me the $70 dollar difference in price refund . The machine works , instead of single arm raises on a cable machine I am now doing bilateral movements and get done in less time but my shoulders are really feeling it. I like it and am keeping it. Thank your Fringe for your service you didn’t have provide the sale price but you did.

Sent email thanking them for feedback and slightly hinting if we can make anything better!

The Dragonfly

My experience with Fringe was exceptional. You never know what a company is like internally until you have questions and concern. I’m here you tell you that they care. Fast same day response. Didn’t question my concern, they listened and solved the problem within 2 emails. Stuck to their word. And handled it. What a great company to do business with. If you are in the market for an attachment such as the Dragonfly and what it can do, well don’t wait any longer. This device beats them all. Functionality, ease of assembly and price point are things I always consider when spending my money. Fringe checks all those boxes and more. You will not regret buying this Dragonfly attachment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It looks like the review may have been submitted with a 1-star rating by mistake. If you ever need anything or have questions down the road, please feel free to reach out to us anytime at team@fringesport.com. We’re always happy to help.Thank you again for your support.

Disappointed

Full transparency: my first dragonfly was so bent and broken from the factory that Fringe’s awesome customer service sent me a replacement. The bad: it seems that in order to hit a price point tolerances are kept sloppy between moving parts and removable parts. The arms occasionally hit the frame and it takes a very firm smack with a change plate to get some of the mag pins inserted due to the holes being the only dimensionally tight things which shows when the alignment is not so tight. I’m not expecting perfection for a budget piece it is just that the competition is much better for the price which is the Mikolo lateral raise that I may repurchase since this was an “upgrade” purchase. Considering it’s $100 more than that one is a lot to consider. I weighed my options between upgrading to the Dragonfly or the unit from BOS and with the price of the two close, I went with Fringe due to their amazing customer support. That proved true for sure so thank you for having the best CS in the business! Will I see if I can return this unit for a second time? Maybe, it’s not that great! I could buy a freestanding budget machine (not a multi flight) for the same price. The good: it is 100% 11-gauge steel, derlin/nylon on all contracts with your rack, it is truly universal… hard to find attachments that fit the old Sorinex hole spacing! Others should take notes on how Fringe is truly universal and doesn’t cheap out on some parts being 12 or 14-gauge steel. It would be a solid 4/5 for something at the MSRP of $199 but it is instead +$300 without discounts. The photos are of the “good” second unit and the video is of the bad original unit

For deltoids its great. I am finding that the carrying handle is mostly in the way, i hit my head on it a couple times already. I wish it was good for flies, but its just not. The carry handle is exactly where my head needs to be and the working handles are too short for flies, to short even for lateral raises. Beyond that i really like it. Im going to be using it alot, its way better than dumbbells. We need longer handles. And just as importantly the carry handle just needs to go , get rid of it ,its so in your face an in the way. Like i said ive smacked my head on it couple times already. I don't even carry it with the handle its too heavy and wide im using two hands and niether are on the carry handle. I might cut it off myself. But the weight curve is awesome 👍 , the Gold , is awesome. This is a winner, just need to make chest flies viable with longer working handles. Good stuff guys, cant wait for my set of gold magnetic incremental wieghts to come in. Every thing you have with gold on it is sick!! I have the dane and the gold bars and the dragon fly hamg on the wall and heavy Polishes like trophies! Sick!

Time to FLY!

simply amazing. i always felt like i was doing lat raises wrong with dumbbells. Was i swinging my arms or leading with my hands instead of my elbows and why do my shoulders hurt? No longer an issue any more. Lat raises feel so smooth & take more effort to complete each rep. Assembly was very straight forward thanks to the YouTube video and the ability fold up while not in use is clutch.I am going to keep an eye out on the handle extensions as it would make forward raises a bit more comfortable.I was a bit confused as to what "setting" provided the most resistance but after a few tries i got it dialed in.Don't skip out on this if you want to crush your shoulders!

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for creating the Dragonfly rack attachment. This piece has genuinely transformed my shoulder training and allowed me to return to movements I thought might be permanently off the table.By way of a quick backstory, I suffer from fairly aggressive osteoarthritis in my left shoulder as a result of many years playing university football, along with other joint issues. Finding safe and effective ways to train around this injury has been exceptionally difficult. Even something as simple as dumbbell lateral raises has been problematic due to the demand placed on stabilizing musculature that is already in rough condition. The Dragonfly’s controlled range of motion has finally allowed me to train shoulders again in a meaningful way. Free of discomfort, and full of confidence. I’m now seeing phenomenal improvements in my ability to perform rotator cuff exercises, which I attribute at least in part to the Dragonfly, and is a huge step forward in my effort to improve my shoulder using non-surgical methods. This product has had a genuinely positive impact on my training and quality of life, and I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the work your team has done.Thank you again for building such thoughtful, innovative equipment.

Great Design

I've owned two other lat raise rack attachments, and have more recently been using a bespoke cable lat raise handle. The Dragonfly is a much better design for my needs. The arms' flexibility mean I can tune the strength curve exactly to my needs, but more specifically, can easily be attached to my dual Voltras. This is basically an endgame shoulder setup.

Great piece of gear, with some notable asterisks

Over all I’m very impressed with the dragonfly, but I have some major gripes as well. We’ll start with the good. Easily my favorite feature of dragonfly is the well thought out storage setup. I am so used to having to engineer some kind of customized storage solution for all the weird and wonky attachments for my rack that it was straight up incredibly to have dedicated “pop these pins in here to fold it up small” instructions. The footprint is tiny and it can be tucked in beside a plyo box or dumbbell stand and disappear. The bearings are buttery smooth and the adjustable resistance curve is amazing. It’s a genuine pleasure to use, and absolutely blasts your delts on lateral raises. Now… the gripes. The fit and finish, it needs a bit of work. Multiple bolt or pin holes were so tight that i had to file the powder coat down to get the hardware fully seated. These included two bolt holes and one pop pin hole. I’d also note there were no tools for assembly in my package. Not sure if this is standard or if they were just missing from my package, but you’ll need 17 and 19mm sockets or wrenches and a metric allen key set to assemble. These is a one-time pain point, and i’m not too mad about it because I’d rather the holes be a little tight than sloppy and loose, more irritating was the realization that I literally could not do chest flyes without purchasing extra equipment. I have the Dane 2.0 and the extended feet in the front prevent putting a bench in place where you would need it for flyes. You need to either awkwardly turn the bench sideways to straddle the foot, or use some sort of seal row pad to get into position instead. If you have a rack without front feet, or a rack you could mount the dragonfly off the side instead, you should be fine. If you have a rack like the dane, the front feet and the functional trainer cables make it difficult to get full use from the dragonfly. My last complaint is the center handle. I honestly don’t see the point in it. To me, it is much easier to mount and unrack the dragonfly holding the pinned arms, and the handle only serves to give you something to crack your head on when trying to get into position to do chest flyes or rear delt flyes. It just seems more trouble than it’s worth, and I’ll probably end up chopping it off with an angle grinder at some point. All in, it’s not perfect, but for the most part it does what it should and it feels great when doing it.

This helped me get past a really annoying shoulder injury

This has been a great addition to my tiny gym space. While I cannot easily mount this to a wall to get out of the way, I can mount it high on my rack out of the way. I got this in hopes it would help me get past some shoulder issues, and after a month of continuous use it has drastically improved my situation. It's just so much easier doing lateral movements with this and I really like how you can use the arms to load it more on the bottom. The movement feels really good and natural for me and excited to see what kind of future attachments Fringe cooks up for this in the future. My only small gripe is that I wish there was a peep hole so when I go to mount this on my rack it's easier to see where the pin is lined up. This is mostly a challenge when I'm racking it up high and out of the way.

Works as I was hoping it would. The ability to use the 4 weight posts using 5 and 10 pound plates makes the resistance really good.

Fringe Sport Dragonfly

I’ve had the Fringe Sport Dragonfly for a few days now. Overall this is a nice piece and very versatile with the different options. Lateral Raises and Rear Delt Flys feel great. And the unit folds up nicely which is great for storage. There is also some extra thin UMHW shims where it attaches to your upright that help you dial in how well it fits. I removed one shim and it fits great to my Rogue rack. Note that they mention the shims in one of their videos, but I did not see it in the instructions. The design for Chest Flys however seem incomplete. When you flip it upside down (which is necessary for chest flys) there is no plastic protector on this side of the arm, but there is one on the other side which protects it when doing lateral raises (see picture). And for me, the arms are not long enough. Basically, the fly is at the shoulder level instead of near the chest, so it feels a bit awkward. They said that they're planning on offering extensions in the future, but they do not yet have a release date for those. So I made my own with 8-inch steel pipes and 9-inch long M10 bolts (see picture). This greatly improves the chest fly. Great stretch at the bottom, but you do lose tension at the top like when doing dumbbell flys when the first set of arms are vertical. Adding bands helps since the band only add tension for this last bit so you can get a good squeeze at the top of the movement (see picture for an example). There are also holes in the second set of arms where I was able to add some chains which also help with the resistance curve as they get pulled off the floor. It is a lot of steps to get a nice full range of resistance, which might be more easily solved by using a cam system to adjust the resistance curve, but it does demonstrate some of the versatility available. And you can really dial in what you want out of it.  I do think that they should have included the extender handles with the unit at launch. But overall, I’m happy with the Dragonfly.
