SMOOTH PULLS FROM HANDLES THAT MOVE WITH YOUR WRISTS
A fixed handle forces your wrists into one position through the entire range of motion. At the top of a lat pulldown or the end of a row, that position stops being comfortable and your wrists start compensating. The bearing-equipped handles on the Crown rotate freely so your wrists stay natural from the first inch of the pull to the last. The back muscles work the way they are supposed to and your joints won’t pay the price.
CHOOSE WHICH BACK MUSCLES TO ISOLATE
Your grip width determines which back muscles do the work. A closer grip means tighter elbows, which activates your lower lats and mid back for more thickness. A wider grip means flared elbows and outer lat engagement for more width. The Short Crown gives you the first, and the Long Crown gives you the second. Pick the one that matches what you are training today.
MORE WEIGHT FROM THE MACHINE YOU ALREADY HAVE
The Crown has connection holes that let you attach to both cable ends of your functional trainer trolley boxes (on the Long) or articulating arms (on the Short and Long). On a 2:1 system, connecting both cables doubles the felt load and brings you closer to the actual weight loaded on the stacks. On a 1:1 system, it combines both stacks into a single heavier pull. So if you have 100lbs loaded on both stacks, the weight being moved will be 200lbs. If you have been pulling your stack to the top and wanting more, this is how you get it without buying a heavier machine or additional weights
Most back attachments lock your wrists into fixed positions, which can limit the amount of back isolation that takes place. The Crown was designed to open up that plane, while giving you two different widths to choose from.
The Short Crown keeps your hands closer together, which keeps the movement path tighter and puts more direct load on the lower lats and mid back. Narrow grip lat pulldowns, close grip rows, and cable curls are all great examples of exercises that can be performed. This is the cable attachment for lifters who want to work on that back thickness.
The Long Crown opens your grip wider, which changes everything about where the movement loads. A wider grip on a lat pulldown or row brings the rhomboids and mid-back into the movement in a way a narrow bar never does. If you want a wider look, the Long Crown is how you get there.
Both handles spin freely on bearings, which is the detail that separates the Crown from all standard lat attachments on the market. When a handle rotates with your wrist, the movement stays natural through the full range of motion. When it does not, your wrists compensate, your elbows drift, and the muscle you are trying to target loses tension before the rep is finished. The bearings fix that.
Both versions of the Crown have connection holes that let you attach to both cable ends of your functional trainer simultaneously. On a 2:1 system like the Dane 2.0 in functional trainer mode, that doubles the felt load. On a 1:1 system, it combines both stacks into a single pull. Either way, you are getting more resistance from the setup you already own.

These Attachments will Optimize Your Back Training | Crown Cable Attachments Overview
The Short Crown has a closer grip width that targets lower lats and mid back more directly. The Long Crown has a wider grip that isolates your outer lats more. Both have the same bearing-equipped handles, knurling, and weight capacity. The right choice depends on which part of your back you are training.
The Long Crown has connection holes at each end that let you attach to both cable ends of your functional trainer simultaneously, the same way the Dogbone Cable Connector works. The Short and Long Crowns feature a connection point in the middle for articulating arms that sit closer together. On a 2:1 system this doubles the felt load and brings you closer to the weight that’s actually loaded on the stacks. On a 1:1 system it combines both stacks for double the resistance.
No. You can connect the Crown to a single cable the same way you would any standard lat bar. The dual connection options are for lifters who want more resistance from their existing setup.
No. The Crown connects via standard carabiner to any cable machine, but carabiners are not included.
Lat pulldowns, wide and close grip rows, cable curls, and other upper body pulling movements. The short version is best for mid and upper back work. The long version is best for direct lat work.
The weight capacity on both lengths is 320lbs.
Lubricate it with a silicone-based lubricant. The handles spin on bearings, and the lubricant keeps that rotation smooth. Look for silicone-based on the label.
Any cable machine that accepts standard carabiner attachments, including the Dane 2.0, Cloverfield, Walrus, Sidewing, and any other functional trainer or cable pulley setup.
Lifetime against manufacturing defects, consistent with the rest of the Fringe Sport attachment lineup.
