Overall, the bar feels great for bicep curls and overhead Tricep extensions.
The Knurl feels good as well, perhaps slightly sharp feeling but overall good.
Only thing wrong, the bar came with a couple of paint scuffs on the black right out of the box. I get workout equipment will get that way one day, but buying new should come as new.

The bar feels nice but the gold colored chrome plating is already flaking off. I contacted customer service and they offered me 10% to keep it, but that's not honestly very satisfying. It's only a small spot now but how long until it just looks absolutely trashed? 10% off isn't good enough and has soured me on this company. I've been buying things from Fringe for close to 10 years and will just not shop here anymore.

Really enjoy using the curl bar so far. The plates dont fit loose on the sleeves and the knurling makes the bar feel secure in your hands. The angle on the bends are great and really help with feeling it in your biceps. Just wish the bend was a little longer because there is small part of my hand that is not fully on the bar.

I love my Midas Curl bar! This is easily gonna be my most used bar, bicep pumps are amazing. The knurl feels perfect! It's more aggressive than normal, but not overdone. The bar is super grippy, the sleeves are a beautiful piece of art.
And those endcaps are the best in the game, 10/10 curl bar.

I have a rather humble garage gym, and I add equipment relatively infrequently. This curl bar proved to be an excellent addition. The gold chrome collars do look good, although I did not purchase this for the looks. Being rackable, it is much easier to put plates on it than with the traditional short curl bar. The angle and knurling have proven perfect for me. I've found it much easier on my shoulders than curls with the straight bar. This bar makes working biceps so fun that I have been using it nearly every day. I don't think its my imagination, but my biceps appear to be bigger after only a few weeks.

After having ulnar surgery I need a full size EZ. Since I have fringe sports barbell and bumper plates I know the quality is fantastic and the price is unbeatable. Feels better on the wrist with the EZ curl Midas, highly recommend this company.

My bottom-line review is that the Midas Curl Bar is excellent and one of myfavorite purchases in the last six months. I was specifically looking for arackable curl bar that was aesthetically pleasing and would fit in wellwith the other equipment I have in my gym. I was pleasantly surprised bythe depth and texture of the knurl. The best part of the bar, though, isthe positioning of the undulations that allow me to hit my biceps fromdifferent angles. I have experienced a lot of discomfort with other curlbars because of various shoulder ailments combined with being relativelywide set. that I've used in the past and none at all with Midas.The other Fringe products that I have in my gym include a full set ofSavage bumper plates (5 x 45 pairs, 1 x 25 pair, 1 x 15 pair, 1 x 10 pair), which I absolutely love the look, feel, and quality of and a pair ofstrength bands that I use for banded deadlifts and squats. I like thestrength bands, but they do seem to be inconsistent in terms of theirelasticity so I feel very different resistance when attempt to use twoblack bands on either side of a bar, for instance. They're great when usedsingly.I will definitely be purchasing additional Fringe Sport products in thefuture and I have actively been encouraging my brother to buy the Dane forhimself, but I haven't quite convinced him yet.I'm attaching a photo of all my plates and the curl bar in place in my rackon my platform.

I used it for about 1 minute. Immediately, you can tell the knurling is uneven. one side is nice and aggressive, while the other is passive and overly coated with paint. I called customer service to check out the warranty. They had me send them videos and pictures. They said that quality is the standard showroom quality, and I will get the same quality if I sent mine in for a replacement. I opted for a refund, but had to beg for them to waive my $35 shipping fee.Will probably not ever buy anything from fringe again

I bought the Midas open trap bar and EZ curl Midas bar. Both bars are built well and work in my home gym setting. Been using the trap bar a few months now and the curl bar about a month. The trap bar visibly looks tight but when you’re using it you don’t notice. I do trap bar deadlifts and shrugs. The Midas ez curl being rack-able is a great feature for loading and unloading your bar. I use it for curls and triceps extensions. I’d recommend each bar to anyone looking to add to their home gym.
