Box had a different company's logo on it, "1FitWonder". I expected the logo "Fringe Sport", and did receive the correct logo in the multi sided wooden plyo boxes from fringe sport. Good quality made in China product.
Traditional Plyo Box
Easy to put together and sturdy.
Solid product good price
Good item, my only complaint was the saw cuts on the wood were not a good finish quality. But for price and function, this is a good solid platform.
16" Traditional Flat Pac
Pros - The packaging was intact, with no holes or tears. Parts - 5 sheets of CNC cut plywood, metal brackets, screws - were well organized. The plywood parts fit well together, although not perfectly. All pilot holes were properly located and sufficiently deep. The glued, assembled, sanded, and finished product is rock solid and good looking. The markings are burnt-in, and unaffected by sanding. Cons - One screw was missing. One screw head snapped off while being driven (possibly my fault). The box cannot be "assembled with ease", at least for this fairly accomplished DIYer; this is definitely a 2-person job, with 4 hands making a huge difference. Instructions were perfunctory - 1 sheet of 6 photos with no descriptions. The numbers marked on the plywood to show which piece goes where were unreadable, and thus useless. Comments - Gluing is highly recommended for a stronger box; yes, it will be messy, so keep damp paper towels handy. Sanding is suggested as well, to remove excess glue, give all edges a rounder profile, and create a smoother surface; I used an orbital sander, first with 150, then with 220 grit. I suggest a finish for protection and a pleasing look; boiled linseed oil achieves both, and is easy to apply. Conclusion - I'm pleased with the product, and would buy it again. Fringe should work with their supplier to correct the minor, but annoying, problems described above.
Great plyo box!
This Box is sturdy, nice looking and just the right height to do several activities. I'm currently missing a bench and even used it for obliques with my partner's help!
