Olympic Iron Plate Sets

They’re fine. They are what they are. But, what they also are is expensive for very basic, ok-ish quality steel plates from china.

The plates are great. The reason I marked you down is because of delivery issues. I was missing plates. The process to rectify the situation was tedious and took about 3 weeks. I recieved one a week later but the last one was delivered to and old address and by the time it was corrected it was another couple of weeks. I have purchased other Fringe equipment and find it to be quality but this left a bad impression on customer service.

I did not receive my 25# and 35# plates

Nothing to complain about. Every plate is within 1oz of true weight and have a nice texture that helps with handling. Had multiple issues with FedEx completely losing the shipment in transit and the folks at Fringe were very helpful and very responsive in getting replacement orders shipped out.

I was looking for a high quality set of weights at an affordable price and was able to snag a set during a sale and could not be more pleased with it! The weights came in within a week and is exactly what I was expecting. I am very happy with this purchase!

Fringe sport has always exceeded my expectations. The 247.5 iron plate weight set is outstanding. From time ordered to time received at my door was less than 48 hours. I live almost 1200 miles from there location. Great people and great products offering amazing service.

They're iron plates. Hard to mess that up 🤣

Solid pieces just what I was looking for.

They're iron plates. The came in perfect condition. They came when they said they would.

We essentially use these like change plates when doing ladders or pyramids - basically playing around with the weight on the bar in doable increments. Because they are smaller, they are super easy to load onto the bar quickly to keep time-between-sets at a minimum. Also, they don't take up much space on the weight rack.Great set of weights at an affordable and competitive price. Highly recommend.

This photo shows 3 sets of plates and I only received 2, the 2.5 and 5 lb, no 10s. So the photo doesn't match the product and I paid more per pound than I would have.

Purchased for son-in-law

Pretty solid plates. Simple and effective. Nice quality with no rogue bits of metal left over from the casting/ machining to cut up your hands.

I hate to write bad reviews but the set of plates I ordered came in damaged conditioning. After reaching out to customer service, I had a good conversation with the staff member who offered to honor a 15% discount to the total I paid. This was offered on 3/14 at which point I agreed too, since I didn't want to deal with bringing them back up from my basement and ship them back. It's currently 8:30pm on 3/23 and I have yet to hear back or receive any form of refund. As far as the weights themselves, I don't believe they were originally used, just mishandled with shipping. Weights are weights and I expect them to get banged up, I just didn't want to pay for new and get used.

Nice quality. Backs and holes are machined so the fit is good and four of the six plates are within a fraction of an ounce (according to my kitchen scales). Paint is thick and handsome, but mine did arrive with a few chips despite packing with bubble wrap.I was on the fence between 4 stars and 5. But two interactions with customer service (one of which was entirely my fault) were resolved well so I gotta go five stars!

These were a much needed upgrade to the cheap, box store set I'd had before. The plates being milled makes them pleasing to hold and look at, no more enamel flacking off onto my hands. I personally would like a slightly smaller hole tolerance, though these plates definitely dance on the bar less than my previous set. A very worthy inclusion to any garage gym, especially with the smaller increments being available compared to other options on the market.

USPS tracking 9405511699000444116667. Dead mail. I never got my item.I already talked to chat support on the website twice and both told me I would be sent a replacement. On the second chat, I was told I will be getting the tracking numbers for the replacement in the next couple of hours. 24 hours later, I don't see anything on my account or email of any new shipment with tracking number. Very dissapointing experience so far. Maybe I should just ask for a refund.

The weights are great. Shipped out same day and arrived fast. Packaging was substantial and everything was in perfect condition.

Been needing some 1.5 bumpers. Saw a lightning deal for a set of 1.5, 2.5, and 5 pairs and had to snatch them up. Great service as always.
