The design and color is the same as our smaller plates. They are the same black powder coat with the pounds and kgs written together on one side of the plate!

I'm in love with these plates. I'm convinced they are the best value out there, at least for the lighter weights. After trying 5 lb weights from a handful of popular companies, I've settled on Fringe Sport. I've purchased several sets of 2.5, 5, and 10 lb. All are great. I like that they have machined diameters (in and out), the contrast of the lettering, and the prominence of both metric (kg) and imperial (lbs) weight measurements. It's hard to find all those things in a single plate, and especially in this price range. Absolutely love these things and am working on stocking up even more 5 and 10 lb sets to go with my (Fringe Sport) loadable dumbbells and curl bar. I won't buy any other steel plates (up to 10 lbs).

The plates arrived a week after being ordered. I ordered them with some bumpers and everything looked great. No visible damage and are very nice. Wasn’t able to see any weigh variance on my scale. I love these and will be buying more when I can lift more

I refuse to get hurt so I add weight carefully. Having these trustworthy, lower weight plates has allowed me to do progressive overload with confidence. LOVE THEM.

I love the plates I purchased. They fit snugly and really don't need the collars I'm using. Sturdy, durable, and made well!

Ordered 3 sets of the 10lb plates. The coating is chipped on all 3 sets on the edges. Bought a set of 5lb plates about a year ago that were much better quality.

It's been fantastic so far. I also have a squat rack, bench, barbell and bumper plates. I'm very satisfied.

Both sets were made of different material. One set was black the other set was silver. Pretty annoying honestly. Probably won’t order anything else from Fringe after I was told it was supposed to be like that.

I do want to warn others you'll have to do a bit more upkeep if you have a steel bar.After I started using them I noticed they caused extra wear on my Rogue Ohio steel power bar. Before getting the steel plates I only used the Fringe MilSpec Rubber Bumper Plates. I usually had to lubricate the bar once a month.After getting the plates I had to lubricate the bar twice a month. I initially noticed some rust build up. I lubricated the initial rust and brushed off the persistent places.As I said, I'd still recommend, but make sure you're doing upkeep to maintain the bar.
