Installing the kickstand is straightforward and easy. All you need is to watch the video below to get you started.


We recommend installing the weight horns at the 6th hole while the kickstand should be positioned at the end of the lever arm to keep everything nice and tight.

Some customers are reporting this issue but we guarantee that it does not affect functionality and will not create any long term problems.

The kickstand serves as a safety device and it opens up to control downward movement that might lead to injury. We don’t recommend doing hard and deep squats as this wears out the tension spring especially if the kickstand often hits the ground.

Overall - yes!

Purchased the belt squat years ago when it first came out. Missed out on offer to get the kickstand discounted. So I did like others online and designed my own. It worked, but not without its issues. Finally got an opportunity years later to get the kickstand. I modded the heck out of the install for my needs. But I do think it was worth the upgrade. Washers my people are your friends. Solid Fringe piece, modded to my specs! Be creative to get it to work for you. That's what separates the Fringe Belt Squat from others!

Fringe Sport Kickstand Review

Must have!

If you want to belt squat this is a MUST HAVE! With a traditional belt squat rack set up you have to go to your knees to get the weight up and down off the floor. It’s uncomfortable, awkward and a limiting factor in how much weight you can lift. The kick stand eliminates all of those issues and makes it super easy to do. Highly recommended!

Essential belt squat attachment

This is a must have for anyone that is doing belt squat with a lever arm. Has been a nice starting position. The only complaint and it is minor is that there is a slight squeak when raised or lowered during the lift.

good addition

I have been wanting a belt squat for a long time but didn't really have the room for a dedicated machine. This works well with my Westside power rack. My only suggestion is that you improve the assembly instructions on this Chinese made product. Yes you can just look at it and figure it out but the instructions for parts needed for each step can be improved. Better figures and clearer, standard terminology for each part type would help.

Mammoth Belt Squat

This is a great entry level price belt squat attachment that you might never feel the need to upgrade from. I would like a thorough video on exercise setup, i.e. differences in muscle training depending on how close/far you stand to the lever arm, narrow vs. Wide stance, etc. Figuring it out is part of the fun though.
