YOU'RE WONDERING.
WE GOT YOU.
Dane 2.0: a pair of low-profile spotter arms, upgraded reverse sandwich J-cups, a pair of D-handles, a pair of extension feet, and a landmine attachment. That is $600 worth of attachments included free, where most trainers charge you hundreds more for the same pieces.
Dane 2.0 (Gibbon Arms Bundle): everything in the Dane 2.0 plus the Gibbon Arms.
Dane 2.0 (Fully Loaded Bundle): everything in the Dane 2.0 plus the Gibbon Arms, the BOB Smith Machine, and a 20kg Wonder Bar barbell.
The stack moves in 10lb increments, but it starts with a 5lb top plate for a 10lb total, so the first step is lighter than most machines. If you want a true 5lb starting weight, add the Midas Touch magnetic weight adder.

The El Toro weight stack horn adds up to 300lbs of standard Olympic plates. Worth knowing too: 160lb at a true 1:1 ratio is not the same as a 260lb stack on a 2:1 machine. Run the math and the Dane's 1:1 setup delivers more usable resistance per pound than most functional trainers.

The Dane 2.0 is designed with a 1:1 pulley system, so 100lbs feels like 100lbs. If 2:1 is a top priority for you, we're launching the Dane 3 and The Great Dane into the growing Dane Family in Fall 2026.
Cable twisting can happen on every functional trainer, and we would rather be upfront about it than pretend otherwise. This video covers what causes it, how to fix it, and how to prevent it.
The unit is 92" tall and the mounting brackets need roughly 95" of clearance to assemble it the standard way. If your ceiling is lower than that, keep an eye out for the Dane Low, coming soon.
About 60" from the wall with the front extension feet on. The extension feet are completely optional and the Dane 2.0 is a tank even without them. Your depth is closer to 33" without them if you're working in a smaller space, and many customers run the Dane 2 this way.
There is a step-by-step instructional video. Assembly takes a couple of hours or more depending on the space you are working in, and watching the video first makes it go a lot faster.
Not as a dedicated station out of the box, but if you get The Drew, the Lat Pulldown Seat, and our Low Row Foot Plate at purchase, you'll have them from day one. Those are a few of our most popular add-ons to the Dane 2.0 by a long shot.
Yes. Add The Drew Lat Pulldown Extender if you want to be sure. The Drew keeps your Dane 2.0 at the same overall height, but it raises the lat pulldown by about a foot. Roughly 11.5 inches, to be exact.

Buy a Dane 2.0 now and if we release a successor within 18 months, you get first access plus trade-up credit toward it. We take care of our customers instead of punishing the people who bought early.
Yes. Unless you plan on repping 1200lbs, you'll be fine. Watch Tim drop 615 pounds on the Dane 2.0, onto our Needle Spotter arms, and it just sits there like the tank it is.
We do have other functional trainers at Fringe Sport that our customers love. Check out The Fenrir and The Slim Gym.
Yes. You're on the Fully Loaded Bundle, and the Smith Machine is already in it.
This bundle is the Dane 2.0 plus the Gibbon Arms, the BOB Smith Machine, and a 20kg Wonder Bar barbell. Nothing else to add and nothing else to buy.
BOB mounts on the back of the rack, and setup is typically easy. Watch the assembly walkthrough before you start and it goes a lot faster.
All-In-One Strength & Cable System
The Dane 2 Fully Loaded combines a commercial-grade half rack, true 1:1 functional trainer, and smith machine into one unified system. This gives you free-weight training, guided lifting, and full-range cable work without buying or spacing multiple machines. One footprint, every training style covered.
Expanded Range, Control & Safety
Gibbon Arms transform the Dane 2 into a true cable crossover with precise angle control and full stretch, while the BOB Smith Machine adds guided bar paths and built-in safeties. Together, they unlock isolation work, heavier lifts, and safer training, especially when lifting alone or working around injuries.
Space-Efficient, Gym-Level Capability
The Dane 2 Fully Loaded delivers the functionality of multiple commercial machines in a compact 60” footprint. By combining a rack, functional trainer, cable crossover, and smith machine into one system, it maximizes training capability without overwhelming your space. Perfect for serious home gyms that need performance without sprawl.
The Dane 2 Fully Loaded is the all-in-one commercial home gym built to replace a full lineup of machines in one clean, compact setup.
At the center is the Dane 2.0, combining a half rack and functional trainer into a space-efficient 60” footprint without sacrificing real performance. You get smooth, highly adjustable cables, true-to-weight resistance, and the stability to train heavy barbell movements inside or outside the rack.
From there, this system expands into a full commercial-style training environment. The Gibbon Arms push the cable path outward and add precise multi-angle control so crossovers, flys, and single-arm work finally feel natural and properly aligned. The BOB Smith Machine adds guided lifting for controlled reps and safer strength training, while still letting you use your own Olympic bar or selected specialty bars. And to round it out, the 20kg Wonderbar (Bushing) gives you a lifetime barbell designed for everything from squat, bench, and deadlift to high-rep daily training.
It’s one integrated setup built for serious training now, and designed to evolve over time with Fringe Sport’s open ecosystem design.

For most users, yes. Gibbon Arms unlock cable crossover movements and angle variety typically only found on full cable systems, without taking up the extra space.
Gibbon Arms are ideal for Dane owners who want more cable freedom, better angles, and expanded exercise variety without adding another machine to their gym.
It is straight-forward, as it is a drop-in replacement to an existing trolley, but does require a new, longer cable, requiring you to re-route the cable on your Dane 2 functional trainer.
Yes. The BOB is engineered for an extremely low start height, making it perfect for hip thrusts, deadlifts, rows, and any movement where starting low matters.
