Key Features

  • No More Pain on Pushdowns: The flat blade profile positions your hands for a natural palm press so the force goes through your triceps, not your wrists. More muscle engagement, less joint stress, every rep.
  • Safer Than a Straight Bar: A straight bar locks your wrists into a fixed plane and creates rotational stress at the bottom of the movement. The Tricep Board removes that stress entirely and puts the load where it belongs.
  • Pushdowns, Extensions, Pullovers, and More: Built for tricep pushdowns as the primary movement, but works equally well for overhead tricep extensions, lat pullovers, and other upper body cable work.
  • Works With Any Cable Machine: Attaches via carabiner to any cable machine or pulley system. Compatible with our entire collection of cable machines, as well as any standard functional trainer

ALL THE GAINS, NO PAIN

Every rep on a straight bar is a negotiation between your wrists and the movement. The flat blade profile keeps your wrists neutral from top to bottom so the joint stops absorbing what the muscle should be doing. More direct load on the tricep, less strain on the elbow, and a pushdown that finally feels like it is working the right thing.

OVERLOAD YOUR TRICEPS WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT GRIP

Fully isolate your triceps without grip strength becoming the limiting factor. The Tricep Board's palm press design takes your hands out of the equation so the only thing that fails first is the muscle you are actually trying to train.

THE ATTACHMENT THAT OPTIMIZES THE RIGHT MOVEMENT

You cannot muscle your way through a bad position on the Tricep Board. The flat blade profile and palm press grip put your hands exactly where they need to be for maximum tricep engagement.

The straight bar is the default tricep attachment in every gym on the planet. It is also the reason a lot of lifters feel their pushdowns more in their wrists and elbows than in their triceps.

It is not your technique; it’s the bar. A straight bar locks your wrists into a fixed plane that creates rotational stress at the elbow joint at the bottom of the movement, right where the tricep should be most activated. The force that should be loading the lateral and medial heads gets absorbed by the joint instead. The result is discomfort that cuts sets short, limits how heavy you can go, and makes pushdowns feel like a compromise every time.

The Tricep Board was designed around a single fix. The flat blade profile puts your hands in a natural palm press position that keeps your wrists neutral through the full range of motion. No rotation, no joint stress, no compensation pattern redirecting load away from the muscle. Just a cleaner movement that finally puts the tricep under the tension it is supposed to be under.

It works for more than pushdowns. Overhead tricep extensions, cable curls, and other upper body cable movements all benefit from a flat grip surface that gives you more contact and control than a round bar.

Connects to any cable machine via standard carabiner.

The Attachment Your Triceps Have Been Begging For

A straight bar locks your wrists into a fixed plane that creates rotational stress at the elbow at the bottom of the movement. The Tricep Dagger uses a flat blade profile that lets you press through your palms with your wrists in a neutral position. Less joint stress, more direct tricep engagement, cleaner reps.

No. It attaches via standard carabiner to any cable machine or pulley system, but the carabiner is not included.

Any cable machine that accepts standard carabiner attachments, including the Dane 2.0, Cloverfield, Walrus, and any other functional trainer or cable pulley setup.

Tricep pushdowns are the primary movement and where the blade design delivers the most benefit. It also works well for overhead tricep extensions, cable curls, and other upper body cable movements where a flat grip surface improves contact and control.

Both. Beginners find it easier to actually feel their triceps working because the palm press removes the wrist compensation that makes standard bars hard to use. Advanced lifters benefit from the cleaner movement path and the ability to push closer to failure without joint discomfort getting in the way first.

Call me crazy but.....
Welded stud to the nut isn't a great thing at this price point. I would have expected that on a sub $30 bar from Amazon. TBH a little disappointed in that part of the build. I like to modify my stuff for my liking. I understand that not everyone thinks adding a $50 swivel to a $50 piece of equipment is feasible but for me it makes a huge different in how i feel after my workouts.
I'm keeping it.. it's a different piece of equipment for me and i'm finding different exercises that i can do with this thing. But until i have the time not to hack it and put my swivel on. I really dislike attachments on attachments. I like to keep it simple and not worry about many connection pieces as they are part of the attachment.

Just got this and had to try it out right away. The wrist position for tricep pushdowns makes a night-and-day difference. It puts significantly less stress on my wrists and grip. The palm surface is pretty smooth, so you might want to buy grip tape to avoid slippage with heavier weight.

Unexpected bonus: this pairs perfectly with the Mammoth Belt Squat for seated calf raises! I wish the angled portion were just a bit longer for this purpose, but it still works great. I am going to fashion padded sleeves to go on the ends for comfort.

There are a few bubbles in the coating, but nothing major. The connection ring is welded in place and coated, so that you may need a swivel attachment depending on your setup. I’d prefer it were bare metal, since the movement against the carabiner will eventually rub it off.

Love this! I have every cable attachment you can imagine and the tricep pump with this is insane! No pinching of anything when using it so if you’re on the fence get it because you need to feel the difference to believe it!

While it looks super sleek and awesome, I was skeptical that it would be as good as it looks. I was wrong, it feels good for hand placement and it hits the head of the triceps in a way that no other tricep attachment ever has. Felt really good and left me with a great pump. Excellent addition to any gym, I highly recommend it!

I’ve been waiting to get my hands on this bad boy since Home Gym Con. I tried to buy it there, but no dice. I’ve got a flat handled tricep press down from the company with the yellow lettering. This hits different. Not better, not worse. But different. And it has a permanent place in my arsenal for the twice weekly tricep work. The Fringe cut out is sexy AF and this thing could probably be used to put a hurting on a burglar. Five for five on the star front. Get you one, there’s no need not to do so as soon as you read this.

The Tricep Board cable attachment is awesome!! I ordered it and it arrived very quickly which seems par for the course with Fringe Sport. It was packed well and was in perfect shape when I opened the box. It is made from very thick steel and looks pretty cool with the cutout logo. I might add that in spite of its hefty design it does not seem heavy like some attachments I have used. I attached it to my Ancore unit and used it for Tricep Extensions. The feel was amazing. The wide flat bar coupled with the up angled ends made it so easy to use. It seems designed in such a way as to minimize pressure on the wrists. I also used it for some pullovers and straight arm pulls and it worked really well. I just really like it, and I am glad I ordered it.

I did a video of it in use at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2m0okDoTLE&t=3s

This little 16” piece packs a lot of versatility at a low price. I’d say this should be in maybe the first 5 cable attachments you pick up if looking for the most bang for your buck. Full review is on JayBeeeTV YouTube

I used it twice and so far I like it a lot. The fit and finish are great, edges are very smooth, overall has a nice feel to it. Admittedly, this is more of a "want" than a "need" attachment, I would still buy it.
What makes it different, imo, is that it puts your palms in a different position than a curl bar attachment, and somehow the mind-muscle connection feels stronger.

Good addition to the collection

I'm a fan of tricep attachments that give you more surface area to push against. I already own two fat grip bars but this is my first flat bar. It feels really good for pushdowns. It's just different enough from my other bars to justify the purchase. It also just kinda looks cool.

Awesome value with a new spin

I’ve used this for a few workouts now and I’m a big fan. I’ve never used this type of tool so it was a little different pushing with an open palm and relaxed fingers. This feels like it requires more tricep specific recruitment and I had a new soreness after day 1. Placing the pad of my palm right in the curve was ergonomic for me. The powdercoat is textured but it’s not super grippy so be careful not to let it slip while you’re still getting the hang of it. Very sturdy thick steel and the welded brace prevents any flex. You can push heavy. I liked using this for tricep push downs and overhead extensions. Really loved it for lat prayers. Skull crushers and lying French press were great too. Overall, a quality versatile training tool that is an outstanding value at this price. I’m biased because Fringe is the home team here in Austin, but there are free returns so you can check my math risk free. Try it!

Feels great

I never really noticed how uncomfortable a straight bar is until I used this today. Its my go-to for tricep work from now on.

“Thank you so much for sharing this! We love hearing that it’s become your go-to for tricep day. A more comfortable grip can make a big difference in every rep. Keep up the great work, and we’re always here if you need anything. Lift heavy, lift happy! 💪”
