Most people who build a home gym go through a predictable sequence. They buy a rack. Then they realize they want cable work. Then they buy a functional trainer. Then they realize they want a lat pulldown station. Then a low row. Each purchase makes sense in isolation. But by the time it's all done, they've spent more than they planned, used more space than they had, and spent more time assembling things than training on them.
The Dane 3.0 skips all of that.
It ships with everything: J-cups, D-handles, spotter arms, integrated El Toro weight horns, extension feet, a built-in lat pulldown and low row station, and mag pins. Over $1,000 in features, included. Not as an upsell, not as a bundle you have to configure. In the box, ready to assemble.
The Dane 3.0 runs a 2:1 ratio on the trolley boxes and switches to a true 1:1 on the lat pulldown and low row, so every pound you load on those pulling movements is actually felt.
Most functional trainers are geared toward dynamic movements that target smaller muscle groups. Because of this, a 2:1 cable ratio is fairly common. If you load up 100lbs, it will feel like 50lbs. For exercises like chest flys, biceps curls, tricep pushdowns, and lateral raises, that 2:1 ratio will allow you to take smaller jumps between sets and provide much better progressive overload. Even on isometric movements like single-leg hamstring curls or leg extensions, the Dane 3.0 provides all the weight you would ever need while still giving you that smooth and extensive cable travel.
The lat pulldown and low row are built directly into the machine. Not sold separately. Not an add-on. The Drew, which is one of the most popular Dane 2.0 accessories by a wide margin, is integrated standard. By extending off the front upright, you're put in an optimized position for any pulldown movements since the starting point will be directly overhead. The integrated low row is positioned on the upright at the ideal height for any rowing movements done from the floor.
The rack itself is built from 11-gauge steel with 3x3 uprights and 1" holes, and covered by a lifetime warranty. The pulley system carries a five-year warranty. This is not a machine you replace in three years. It is a machine you build a gym around.
If you are ready to stop buying pieces and start training, the Dane 3.0 is where that starts!
