What Are the Top 3 Benfits Of A Dip Station?

Tricep Magic: Dips are like tricep magic. They are 10X more effective than overhead extensions, kickbacks, and skull crushers becuase it's a compound movement allowing you to progressivly overload the tricep with more weight. More weight resistance = bigger muscles. Science!

Total Upper Body Workout: A dip bar station attachment targets your chest, triceps, shoulders, and core. It's like having a complete upper body gym in one attachment.

Dynamic Strength: Dips build functional strength, making daily activities like pushing, lifting, and carrying easier. Your arms become not just show muscles, but strong tools.

Durable, Sturdy, and Affordable. The Trifecta of Rack Attachments.

600lb Weight Capacity: Our Dip station has been tested to hold 600lbs, making it perfect for advanced lifters who want to do weighted dips.

Sturdy By Design: Our Dip Bar Attachment has 2 safety pins that you slide through your rack, making it stable as a rock when you're doing dips.

Easily Attach To Your Rack In Seconds: Just pop the 2 safety pins into your rack and you're ready for your next training session on this bad boy!

Will This Fit My Squat Rack?

Fits all Squat Racks with 2" X 3" Uprights with 5/8" holes

2"x3" Dip Bar Attachment

The Dip Bar fits all racks with a 2" x 3" 11-gauge steel and 5/8" holes. It is also fully adjusts to your preferred height. Perfect for straight bar dips to strengthen your upper body.

  • Can be easily added to most racks or rigs with 2"x3" uprights with 5/8" holes.
  • The angular bar layout allows you to adjust your workout, go closer for a narrower dip and further out for a wider dip.
  • There are not a ton of people in the functional fitness world that would do dips with every workout, so it's nice to hook it on your rack or rig, do your dips, and unhook when you're done.

Nice to have, but not without flaws

It's awesome to have one of these. I've wanted one since before I got a rack. It works well enough, but arrived slightly damaged due to the packaging. Also most of the plastic end caps are not on properly & stick out or off the bars. The biggest complaint is there is no rubber anywhere on this like the listing claims. Would be a 3/5 if I wasn't so glad to have one of these things

Quality control is lacking.

The handles I received are slightly crooked, when mounted to my rack. This may not be a big deal to son, but as I am doing heavy weighted dips, I really notice it putting more weight on one side.

Shaky dips

The dip bars themselves are pretty well constructed. The issue is that the garage series squat rack doesn't have enough connecting beams to make it stable. So as a result, the entire thing shakes and sways as you do dips, which leads to a lot of rattling. For the record, I set up the dip bars on the inside of the rack as recommended by Fringe, it doesn't help the shakiness of the situation. I'm still gonna do my dips, but I can see how people are frustrated with the experience.

Borderline Returnable

The 2x3 dip station is extremely wobbly. There is too much of a gap between the mounting bracket and the squat rack upright and it requires shims. I have other Fringe Sport products that work well but this one seems to miss the mark.

Almost perfect

Overall, this dip bar is great. I like that it fits on the *inside* of my squat stand, so it won't tip over. I like that it attaches with two pins, while some of the big competitors only use one. However, I took off one star for the lack of UHMW on the inside of the bracket; this would have provided a slightly snugger fit and eliminated any rattling (which is minimal, honestly). At the end of the day, this dip bar fits my needs and I am very happy!

Well-built, but awkward with Garage Series Squat Rack

The dip bar is very sturdy and the finish is good. When mounted on the outside of the rack, the entire rack shakes, even with controlled movement. Noy a big deal; I can repurpose that rack movement as "stability training".I called Fringe for advice and they were very nice, but the advice was not so helpful. The person told me that the dip bar is designed to be mounted on the inside of the rack, which will provide better lateral stability. That sounded good, until I tried to do a dip but there wasn't enough clearance between my head and the pullups bar above. My other option to try to improve stability is to bolt the rack down to a platform, but not sure how much that will help with the lateral movement.I do recommend his product, but only if it can be mounted in a way that does not interfere with the pull up bar (e.g. to the front of the rack)

Great quality and design. A little loose, but very study. 4.5/5 stars due to the only placement can be between my rack because of the amount of weight it can support. Great product and I would highly recommend it.

Dip Bar

Great item. Easy to switch in and out. Very stable and great for dips.

Good Enough

It works well enough but it's a bit slick. I would recommend bike handlebar tape or baseball bat tape. Medical tape would probably work too but is much thinner.

Probably good, a little flimsy

I ordered this with a gift card/credit to attach to a titan 2x3 squat stand and it was too flimsy to use and I didn’t think it would be worth returning. Should’ve just went with the foldable, wall-mounted version in hindsight.

Seems like a good product bust won’t work with the dimensions of my rack. I will have to send back

Price is right, built solid don't like the side load

I used this on a PRX rack and the 3 inch wide part requirements me to have this be on the outside instead of in the front where the rack is designed to carry weight. This is true of most racks I'd assume. I'd buy it again due to the price, but if they would make it for 2 inch wide and 3 inch deep so it could go on the front of the rack this would be 5 stars all the way. It is extremely sturdy

It will do

It’s a bit wobbly when doing dips. I think has more to do with the fringe rack than the actual dip station

Hello, If you have the 2 post rack we suggest going inside the rack to do dips instead of the outside.

Solid

Really solid design. Would love if there was a way to flip upright when not in use. I currently take the bottom pin out and use a clamp to fasten.

2x3 dip station

bought primarily to use as a hand hold for the mammoth belt squat, but works great as a dip station and a push up station as well. Well built and sturdy, another great product from Fringe!

2X3 Dip Station

Overall I am very happy with this accessory. It fits perfectly on my Unlimited Kip Power Cage. It is very sturdy. I do have one minor complaint. The website says the handles have rubber on them to prevent slipping and provide a better grip. Mine does not have any rubber and both of the handles have some very small burrs on them. If the handles had been smooth, I would have given this product a 5 Star Rating (even without the rubber on the handles).

Wonderful for Dips

I am very happy with this Dip attachment. I have a 2x3 rack and this attachment works perfectly and is very sturdy. I weight 200 lbs and it is very solid.

Dip attachment 2x3

Quality is good - but it is a side mount versus front mount with the folding rig that I have. It works but it feels a little cramped doing dips between the uprights.
