The good...
Even though this is advertised for 2 x 3, the bolt was long enough for my 3 x 3 rack with 5/8 inch holes. I'm guessing it probably can't hold as much weight since the bolt won't go as far in the peg, but at least it works until I get a bigger bolt.
I love the 6.5 inch length. For home gyms, this is usually as long as we need for most weights (who is ever actually carrying more than a pair of 25s and 35s??? Anyone out there need a 9 inch peg to hold all of their 5s???) As far as I know, this is the only single screw peg out there under 9 inches.
The bad...
The washers are too big. There are single screw pegs out there that make the washers the same diameter as the peg. Don't know why they wouldn't do the same here
I don't understand the point of cutting out a really big hole on one end of the peg revealing the pegs hollow cavity. Maybe it's supposed to help keep weights from sliding off? I don't think it would do a good job of that, but I do think it could damage weights' inner ring over time from constantly hitting the opening while loading and unloading them.
Delivery time was 6 days from order. I don't know where these came from but that seems like a lot for a pair of 6.5 inch pegs
I'm stuck between two and three stars. I'm going to give it three because it's the only 6.5 inch peg out there. any other length, if they have this same washer and hole cutout, it's two stars. I'd only recommend them if you absolutely needed 6.5 inches because of space. Me personally, I'm just going to go with 9s somewhere else
Thank you for the review. We had some customer complain that they wanted washers to cover the pegs to prevent damages to the rack.
At first I was a little reluctant about this product when I installed it and realized it made it difficult to lift inside of the rack.
Then I realized that you could place the pins perpendicular to the direction they are show and it doesn’t inhibit squatting benching and deadlifting inside the rack.
I load mine up with 4 45lbs bumper plates with no issues.
My wife complained about the difficulty getting to certain weights at our home gym. This provides adequate storage, easily accessible and stays out of the way while using the rack for different functions.
They worked perfectly - attached them to the belt squat attachment instead of using the vertical loading pin. Could not be happier.

As usually Fringe hits it on the head. I needed a pin for my lever arms. It fits perfect and performs well. I won’t use the bottle opener but it’s novel. A hand tight knurled nut would be a nice upgrade.
Bought these to install on a rack made by the Big R, since all the 5/8 plate pins use the 2 bolts which in my opinion looks clunky. Although these are intended for the 2” wide side of a 2x3 post, they fit the 3” wide post of my Monster Light with room to spare. I used a little loctite and theyre working perfectly. The bottle cap opener is kind of a dumb gimmick, but its not noticeable once installed.
Great cable column rack easy build with online instruction through iTunes. Love using this machine. Had to return a couple items I ordered the wrong smooth process
They work great. I bought them for a Powertec Lever Gym as the pegs that came with it were crap (not Powertec's, they were from the store I bought it from and I could not find pegs on Powertec's site). Fringe's description was a bit confusing as far as the measurements but the site assured me I could return so I ordered. They came, I installed and they work great. Locked up solid and hold my plates great!
I bought this for my fringe squat rack pull up bar setup. It's an accessory listed on the site for the squat rack and the dimensions should be correct. But when I received it the bolt was 2x the diameter of the racks hole.

These are the only single-bolt storage pins I've seen that use 5/8" hardware (all others are 1"). I'm using the 6.5" pins to replace 12" horns to open up my rack, both physical space around the rack and available mounting space on the rack. The price seems high for what it is, but it's reasonable compared to other offerings. The finish is nicer than my old rack. The only issue is the washers. There are the two large metal washers that are obvious in the pictures and a single UMHD plastic washer to protect the rack finish. That's not a packing error because the included instructions also only show a single UMHD washer. It really should come with two, one for each side. That's really the only issue I see with this storage pin. I'd still recommend them over any other weight horns I've seen.

I was looking for this exact design for a while for my 3x3 Monster Lite rack and couldn't find anyone else offering a 6" storage pin with a 5/8" bolt for some reason. Like another reviewer mentioned, the bolt is long enough to fit a 3x3 rack. I'm not sure if that technically reduces the weight capacity but it is very solid and I mainly bought it for change plates and my 25s. I feel confident I could throw some 45s on there though, unless Fringe Sport recommended a longer bolt.
Can't ask for anything more, they're great storage pins. Comfortably get 3 bumper plates on them and they feel solid. Great addition to any rack

I got these for my Titan X-3 with 3x3 posts and they work perfectly, despite being marketed as "2x3". The bolt that runs through the rack is plenty long.

These are excellent plate storage pins. I love that you can utilize the entire pin.I will be ordering more as soon as they get back in stock.
