What You Ordered:

Description: The "Kip Cage" is an incredibly solid power cage designed for functional fitness use! It has a nice wide base (45" deep by 47" wide) that gives you plenty of room for bar work or pull-ups.

It comes with two pairs of J-Cups, numbered uprights, and an overall solid rack for your workouts.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 - 3/4" Wrench/Socket
  • 1 - 3/8" Hex Key

Step 1: Arrange the Main foot plates (Part 2 - 2 pieces total), Rear foot plate (Part 3 - 1 piece total), and the Mounting base plates (Part 5 - 8 piece total) as shown (Figure A)

Step 2: Use the M12x75 Bolt Set (Part 12 - 4 used / 12 pieces total) to affix the main foot plates to the rear foot plate.

Use the M12x80 Bolt Set (Part 13 - 16 pieces total) to affix the mounting base plates to the main foot plates. (Figure B)

Step 3: Assemble the sides of the cage by using the M12x100 Bolt Set (Part 14 - 8 total pieces) to connect the two Uprights (Part 1 - 2 pieces total) with a single Cross Beam (Part 11 - 1 piece total). (Figure C) 

Step 4: Bolt the uprights into the mounting base plates (part 5) to each leg of the uprights with the M12x80 bolts (Part 13 - 16 total pieces). (Figure D)

PROTIP: Insert all bolts into the plates before tightening to ensure the correct fit.

Step 5: Use the M12x75 bolts (Part 12 - 8 used / 12 total pieces) to attach the two pullup bars (Part 4) to the uprights (Part 1). (Figure E)

Step 6: Hold a round tube (Part 10) between the front and rear uprights at the height of your choosing. (Figure F)

Step 7: Slide the safety support bar (Part 8 [left] and 9 [right]) through the upright, through the round tube, and back through the other upright. (Figure F)

Step 8: Repeat steps 6 and 7 on the opposite side of the Cage. (Figure F)
