DAY 4 of SAVAGE WODS

Our fourth SAVAGE WOD is also a member of the notorious Girl WOD gang from the CrossFit community and was originally known as Linda. However, now it is also called (and might I add more accurately) the 3 Bars of Death. 

Yep. That’s the name.

Sounds fun, huh?

This WOD is particularly brutal because it is based on body weight. That type of endurance and exertion that the body must undergo is… well… kind of hard to describe. That being said, Lauren Pettineo, our Sales Manager, can do it in 10 minutes. So it can be done albeit mercilessly! 

Taking on Linda and her 3 Bars of Death is Jason, our trusty Retail Manager. He’s a husband, father, and lifetime lover of fitness.

3 Bars of Death

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Reps, For Time
Deadlift (1.5 bodyweight)
Bench Press (bodyweight)
Clean (3/4 bodyweight)
Use three separate barbells.

Good Times for “Linda” (source)
– Beginner: 28-32 minutes
– Intermediate: 19-25 minutes
– Advanced: 14-17 minutes
– Elite: 11-13 minutes
