We’re happy to announce that Fringe Sport will be a part of Paleo FX 2018 right here in our hometown of Austin, Texas. Paleo FX will take place this weekend, April 27-29 at the Palmer Events Center on Ladybird Lake. Some of your favorite Fringe Sport team members will be in attendance, in addition to some of our equipment being on hand for the strength and conditioning events.
If you don’t know about Paleo FX it was started in 2011 by Austinites Keith and Michelle Norris. The days of dry Tony Robbins conferences have been put behind us, getting replaced by the vim and vigor of health and wellness expos, exemplified by the boom of paleo. Here’s a promo clip for the expo:
This year’s slate of speakers showcases some of paleo’s most prominent figures. Mark Sisson “the Pied Piper of Paleo” highlights the expo this year along with a host of well-known names: Paul Chek, Dr. David Perlmutter, Robb Wolf, Dr. Joseph Mercola, Ben Greenfield, Dennis McKenna and many others.
The event is the largest of its kind in the world and will draw 5,000 attendees this year. Also referred to as “ancestral health”, the paleo expo features keynote speeches, panels, workshops, cooking demos and participatory workout programs. Exhibitors will offer a wide array of samples of foods, coffee, nootropics and products that cater to the lifestyle.
If you’re attending, look for the Fringe Sport team and say hi. We’d love to see you, hang out and take selfies. We can never have enough fun meeting our fans. If you see someone sporting Fringe gear, it’s a good bet to be one of us. We'll be spending some time hanging around our rig we set up for squat tutorials/lessons as well as the Paleo FX Fit Score. Here are some sneak preview pictures.
We'll be easy to find, but if you have any problems, find us on a map across from Thunderbird Real Food Bars and Neufit.
If you can’t attend but want to live stream Paleo FX 2018 go here.
