Tell us a little bit about yourself: I am a father of two, and married for 6 years. In addition to strength training I also train Brazilian jiu-jitsu/Muay Thai/MMA. My goal is to become proficient training partner in the MMA gym with knowledge of superior strength and conditioning techniques.
How would you describe your training style? Complete variety of implements to push, pull, hinge, squat and carry.
How would you describe your strength/fitness level? Not where I want to be I seek to always strive to improve. I'd like to cut about 15-20 pounds from my current weight of 205
What are your fitness/strength goals? I'd like to train 4x a week with 30 mins in the am of metabolic conditioning and 2x a week of 45-60 minute strength/power training in addition to the MMA training
Describe your garage gym: It is truly my space for personal development. It is the most efficient training space I have been in
Who works out in my garage gym? My wife and me, occasionally a friend.
What is your favorite piece of equipment in your garage? My fringe sport yoke. It's a rack as well as an awesome push/pull sled on the artificial turf
What piece of equipment was a waste? I would like to use my battle ropes and kegs more.
What is the next piece of equipment? An extra large heavy bag to develop more powerful striking
Any dream piece of equipment? My own small warehouse gym!!
How did you build your gym? One piece at a time starting in October 2014
