DAY 3 | Flesh-Shredding Carnivore or Octopus?

Recap: As you may have noticed, we’re a bit different here at Fringe, and in keeping with this theme, we’ve decided to provide you with cool octopus facts over the next 8 days leading up to the release of something very special & TOP SECRET 🤫...

Fact #3 Octopuses ARE Flesh-Shredding Carnivores

Octopuses have a mistaken perception for being these tentacled, plush, cuddle buddies of the sea.

This belies their true nature and couldn't be further from the truth.

As you read in our last 2 octopus posts, they're super strong, they murder sharks and...

...given the chance, they'll rip the flesh right off your face.

Not sure about this one either? Feel free to fact check us.

Just ask the Chinese vlogger "seaside girl Little Seven" who tried eating a live octopus on camera.

As you can imagine, it didn't end well.

And she’s not the only one that’s had this experience. It is well known in other countries where raw, live octopus is a delicacy, that eating this animal when it is still alive can KILL you.

What usually happens is that after the unfortunate individual has swallowed the octopus alive, it (still being alive) uses its suckers and tentacles to grip the walls of the esophagus, suffocating the person.

I don’t know about you, but I think I’ll stick to calamari and keep working on my grip strength. The following items are some of our go-to choices for upping your grip game fast.

1.) Hand Grips

2.) Axle Bar

3.) Farmer's Walk Handles
