WOD of the Week: 3-46 GRIT Anniversary WOD

This week's WOD was submitted by @randylauer:

I truly enjoy our boxes anniversary WOD we do every year that still makes me absolutely dread that day in November...

Now, on the surface it looks innocent and 100% doable, which in all fairness every WOD is "doable", but this WOD is terribly deceiving. First off the 5 rounds are self explanatory. Great, no big deal there. But Pukie the Hill is almost 1 mile round trip so that part of the WOD is almost 5 miles all together! You haven't even gotten to the second movement yet!!!

5 Burpee tire flips again are self explanatory but when you take in to account our RX tire is almost a quarter ton, and on the asphalt, it changes the dynamic of the Burpee tire flip real quick. A whole new meaning to the words bloody knuckles.

Honestly, after those two things alone, it's a wonder anyone stuck around for the KBs, push-ups and pull-ups, let alone continue to be members at our box. It's a good hour WOD and every second of that hour is earned through pain, self doubt, self implosion, and a whole lot of self discovery. At the end you know you earned you spot at 3-46 GRIT Crossfit when you've conquered the Anniversary WOD.
