I wanted a second set of j-Cups for my Fringe Ultimate kip cage for my safety squat bar. These J-Cups are fantastic. It's not just a j-cup. They are lined inside and outside with Plastic to protect both your bar and your rack. The finish is fantastic. I recommend the Fringe Ultimate kip cage.

I liked the deal I had, but I’m pretty disappointed my Texas Power bar already started to Chip the plastic after like 3 workouts.
I’d recommend these h-cups if you have super passive knurling on your barbell.

This is a good quality J-Cup. I bought it for my S4 Stands. The only down side is It is a tight fit and does not remove as easily as the Rogue ones. I would recommend them to anyone with 2/3 rack

I got an extra set on sale for my Garage Squat Stand, just as back up. Note that because real estate is so limited, setting two pairs of j-hooks in permanently is not all that feasible.The pin diameter is a tad too big, so I have to really press it in hard into the holes. This widens the holes' diameter just enough to make it go in ok the next time. You just gotta do this anytime you put in a new hole. One improvement would be to add UHMW protection to the inside of the angled part of the hook. There, it's metal on metal when the bar is racked.

I ask if it would fit my Fringe Rack I was told it would. It did not.That is no big deal returned fine but... I really want a set of J-cups that fit my rack.I apparent have a rack that has slightly smaller the 5/8 hole size.

I bought this as an extra from the ones that came with the rack ,the pin is 5/8 " This pin is not 5/8 but 9/16 causing slop and allowing unit to tip down at a weird angle ,must have gotten a good deal on some china cheap steel,, and the original is black why is this polished ,,??

They are well made and sturdy. the lip is taller than some other companies, you will never worry about a bar hopping out of these. having multiple pairs is great for storing barbells out of the way or leaving them in place for squats and bench press.

Got these while they were on sale and they’re great for the price I paid. Fit my 2x3 uprights from other brands. At full price though, I’ve seen some jcups with more UHMW plastic, like on the front and insides, for around the same price.

First time I ordered these, they didn’t fit. They sent a replacement and the left j cup is too tight around the rack and gets stuck in place. Too lazy to return it again but wanted others to know that their quality control isn’t the best. Would be solid if the first time you buy something it works as expected. I’ll buy jcups from another store since I doubt third times a charm from Fringe.

This is the second order within the last 2 months that I have not recieved what I purchased. I currently have bumper plates ordered. I guess we will see if they ever show up. Email inquires get answered days after initially sent. Inquires are answered by multiple so called customer service reps (over the same email inquiry) with conflicting stories. Basically terrible customer service!! Descent products though, if they ever show up

Friend was racking a 225 bench and the peg that goes in the hole (on a fringe half rack) snapped out. It appears to be friction fit into the rest of the piece, but that can't be right. Anyways, really unexpected and really scary.

These J-hooks which came with my garage rack are well built but I wish the mounting pin was the same diameter as the one used on the safety spotter arms. The Safety spotters fit rock solid without movement while the J hooks rattle around when racking the weight because of a sloppy fit of the pin.
