Excellent customer service

Squat rack package came damaged, missing the j cups. Fringe was quick to respond, and sent out replacements. The rack is very sturdy, and is of high quality. Can tell I will be able to use for many years to come. Can’t wait to purchase more items from fringe and can wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone.

Dr.

My original purchase was about 4 years ago in 2016 ( Commercial Grade Rack, Bench, Wonder Bar, and over 400lbs of bumper plates). With the exception of a few days here and there, this set has seen daily use and abuse. Squats and bench to 400 lbs. The set has survived a move from Texas to California. I've used it in my garage and outside exposed to the elements. Typically I hose it down and let it just dry out in the sun. Other than a few scratches and wearing as expected on the j cups ( no issues). Easy to assemble, took me 30 min. I've even grab both upright poles and do a farmers carry with it occasionally. My only regret is not purchasing the pull-up bar version ( I've got to upgrade now). I also failed to buy the spotter arms (harder to push yourself on bench). It's ok with squatting because I can just dump the bar and bumper plates backwards ( wonder bar takes a beating- looks about the Ed same as it did after the first month). Customer service was fantastic. We had a misunderstanding on weekend delivery ( probably my fault), but they fixed the issue and were apologetic. You won't find a better rack with the same quality and features for under $1000. I've been burned before. Oh and the black rubber bumper plates are awesome, they still look great after spending 6 months outside in the intense California sun and 107' temps. How's that for a 4 year review.

Solid Rack For The Price And Height

This rack is great. I have a pretty low cieling in basement, about 85 inches. I'm slightly taller than 6' and this rack is perfect for that. It stands 6' tall, so if you are always racking within that range, itll fit anywhere. The assembly was rally easy, just have a pair of grip pliers and a socket wrench. Other than that, I started using immediately and it feels like a real gym rack.

Great rack!

I love this rack. This one is rock solid, easy to set up, move and get a great workout in. The numbering system on the rack is perfect and I appreciate the simple white on black contrast Fringe did with this one. A only have a couple of suggestions for Fringe. Make the pin holes run all the way up and down the rack. Put some UHMW plastic on the inside of the J-hooks/spotter arms to protect the rack.. Also, I had to shave a bit off the spotter arms to get them to fit. One last suggestion; why not offer an extension kit to for plate storage on the back of the rack? That whole back space is just sitting there waiting to be used. None of these complaints are essential but they'd add to the quality of the rack and definitely NOT deal breakers on such an awesome rack. I recently put in a Squatmax on the back of my rack and the rack is now even more solid. The Squatmax fits on the back like a glove and doesn't hinder my bench work or regular squats. Sorry guys, I'm unable to post pics of my set up. I'll try n post them on other social media. I'd buy this rack again and I highly recommend it! Great job Fringe, This is proof that not all quality racks need to be expensive.

Well made and solid

I really like that is rack feels much more stable than the cage I am currently using. The materials are significantly more robust. The only drawback is that the 2x3 spotter arms do NOT fit this particular rack. The manufacturing of the arms is different than J hooks. The rod does not fit into the "back" holes at all (by back holes I mean the ones without the markings at least that is how my is). I contacted Fringe and was told that this is a known issue and was offered a full refund or the opportunity to keep them (at a discount) and make modifications as needed so they would work. I chose to modify them. Basically I had to sand off the power coating from the rods as well as the back holes so the rod would fit. But the U portion of the arms do not quite fit the uprights. At least not like the J hooks.
