How to build a DIY Power Rack

 

Yes, you read that right. DIY Power Rack instructions, step-by-step, from our friend Mylo at Mylo Obstacle Fitness coming right up!

We obviously would love it if you'd purchase our squat cages and power racks, but we understand that not everyone has thousands of dollars to drop on the perfect home gym set-up. That's why we've partnered with Mylo to give you all the details about building a power rack all on your own.

For this project, here are the materials you'll need:

1 pair ear plugs

1 pair safety goggles

1 pencil

1 carpenter's square

1 tape measure

1 3/4" drill bit

1 T25 bit

1 power drill

1lb 2.5" long deck screws with T25 bit

12 metal ties

1 wood glue

at least 2x clamps

8 2x4s

4 2x6s
